Thomas Moroney 2 #1 Posted November 23, 2023 I have just purchased a 79350 snow plow. My question is do I need the extension to fit on my 1995 520H tractor?

If you have the forward swept axle, you probably need the extension. Unless you only want to use the blade in the straight position.

peter lena 9,231 #5 Posted November 24, 2023 @Thomas Moroney WELCOME ! done a number of those plows , they need a basic FUNCTION DETAILING / LUBRICATION , to make them work / move with ease . personally set it up on 2 milk crates , one under the end of frame the other just behind the FRONT STEERING QUADRANT , arc swing point . like AEROSOL RED SPRAY GREASE , Ext tube , at every movement spot . the swing lever , trigger should be rod connection snug , so its not sloppy . lubricate as you go , the spring operated pin that that operates , should be sliding with total ease , verify that with elevated frame , free to swing / move , anything you detail in , is exactly how it will work on the tractor , use a ROLLER STOOL as yo move around it . maybe FLIP OVER PLOW WEAR BAR ? lubricate blade face , to stop rust , increase slide off . 1/8 " hitch pin clips , for end of frame levers , slide in to last big hole , won't fall out ! that blade set up should swing with total ease . thats what you , just roller stool verified , easy , pete
