Jim_M 178 #3 Posted August 18, 2009 That second notch is park. When you pull the lever into that notch it sets the parking brake.
jdog_kustoms 82 #4 Posted August 18, 2009 pics should be tommarrow will a 416-8 mower deck fit on a d series tractor or are they all special
Rollerman 290 #5 Posted August 19, 2009 will a 416-8 mower deck fit on a d series tractor or are they all special Yes & no. The deck hanger is differant & with the D series you tighten the PTO belt by moveing the deck back & forth as opposed to turning in the knob at the front with the more common pulley tesioner thingy....okay I'll say it "mule drive" You can swap the cross bar at the front of a D series style deck hanger onto a standard style attac-a-matic's deck hanger with a little work & it will fit.
