I have decided to retire this wreck and dedicate it to being a parts machine.

Not the easiest decision after putting work into things sometimes.

If you like the body style of that older one better than the 400 500 you could potentially swap engines and other parts.  Maybe repair the hood.

Oh I'm doing a 416 platform with a 520 dash tower and a 6 slotted hood.    It's gonna be awesome or complete crap.

Have you determined the root cause of the accident? Possibly a combination of going to fast with sloppy steering with a high center of gravity? Kind of like a farm wagon swerving back and forth while being towed? This was one of the concerns I had while designing my build and opted for a rack and pinion steering.

I was going up hill the rear tires caught and it rolled back on its self before I could shut it down.   I had been dealing with clutch issues.

Hence the appeal of the "two pedal" tractors for me.

You'll like that separate brake.

I don't know what the cut off is on the year that began.

I know from 74 up all the B and C Series had two pedals.

I think it started a little earlier than that on some other models though.

Is that cast iron? Should be easy enough to weld or braze.

I don’t know… I think they say “you do you” these days.  I can’t see improvement on the looks, but that’s just me.  I have a lot of crazy ideas that appeal to me and me alone.  :handgestures-thumbupright:
