Dominator 68 #1 Posted September 3, 2023 Hello all. Have been working on a buddy’s 1998 312-8. Has the new type floorboards with the heavy molding attached. I noticed the brake pedal is setting way forward. After checking, the front part of the board is bent down , causing this. Just can’t believe how much thinner these boards are. Lee1977 7,216 #4 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) I welded a 3/8" rod under my 312-8 floor boards after I hammered them back straight. They were always bending when I stepped on them, I'm only around 180# They were all bent when I bought it . They are solid now when I step on them.
