Dunedainranger 4 #1 Posted August 14, 2023 Anyone have suggestions to keep the deck casters from spinning off the deck while mowing? My deck was heavily modified and finally have it running, but the caster on the left hand side sitting on the tractor spins off. I had nuts on it, tried adding washers to allow the wheel to turn against the face of them, greased each caster. The one stays on just fine. Both bolts have a 3/4" head, and had 1/2" lock nuts on. peter lena 9,261 #2 Posted August 14, 2023 @Dunedainranger might find what you want in the , nut / bolt section , H/W store , was just picking up some similar , but not exact as your issue , needed about a 2 1/2 " smooth spindle and a longer thread to hold an elastic nut / washer . had dozens of bolts to choose from , worth a try , pete
Dunedainranger 4 #3 Posted August 14, 2023 @peter lena thank you. I found a parts diagram to see what the intended design was. I just found some weird things with my deck so I wanted to verofy with someone else. I'll look for something at the h/w store. Thank you.
