replacing pto clutch facing , frequently

first question is , how do you engage your pto , lever ?  hard / fast or slower / easier ?  this simple lever engagement is reflective on ,  ROTATIONAL DRAG OF WHAT YOU ARE ENGAGING . know  people around me , have nothing but , screaming / whineing  set ups . my lever action is smooth / easy and slower , no  strenious , noise . can you move the pto drive belt easily , by hand to the driven unit ? usually , bearings are the issue / wrong grease , angular stress and heat build up , causes lubrication , to fail . every related bearing in that set up , should have a specific , hi temp 550 + deg , polyurea (  anti sling  ) rated lubricant , not the generic , lube that was originally put in the bearing . have not replaced my clutch facings , or had to ,  that entire set up will consistantly develop athe failure routene , unless you change it . mower decks I have sold , spin with ease , buyers were amaized at rotational ease , and no rust . just an idea , pete
