Nick Thorowgood 1 #1 Posted August 5, 2023 I am a complete newcomer to this community. I am writing from UK. I have bought a Wheel Horse 5 speed (+ reverse) lawn tractor calling itself a 212-5SB. "EUROPA" The ID label under the seat says: ID Number F212K501 45046 Made in USA 8272". It has a Kawaski engine labelled: "FB460 - 287631 Code No FB460V - AS23" and a 36 inch single blade cutting deck with side updraft grass blower. It goes like a train but inevitably one or both of the transmission and cutting deck belts will go and I shall need to replace. I have not the faintest idea what vintage or model it is or where to look for the relevant part numbers and source them. Any of the accumulated wisdom on this site would be very welcome !. Lee1977 7,221 #3 Posted August 5, 2023 (edited) Go to RedSquare Links, then to Parts Suppliers, then Parts Tree. . When I comes up put F2-12K501 in the top right corner. This will give you a complete parts drawing with parts numbers. It's a 1988 model. Edited August 5, 2023 by Lee1977
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,509 #5 Posted August 5, 2023 Welcome. This link will take you to 14 items on this model. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=f2-12k501&quick=1&type=downloads_file Toro identifies this model as 1988 but with the 8272 September 28, 1988 build date it should be a 1989 model. Year makes no difference - it is the model number that is important.

Nick Thorowgood 1 #7 Posted August 6, 2023 Thanks a million, Lee and Gwest. Amazing to think that this beast this side of the pond is still going strong after 35 years and, as far as I can see, without anything ever having been done to it. Nick.
