scrams8g 7 #1 Posted August 4, 2023 (edited) I ran into this issue when ordering relays from Toro, you end up with relays made in China that have a vendor part number that doesn't match the original. There is a person on Ebay selling the original Cibie made in U.S.A relays. A little pricey but I think the quality is worth it. scrams8g 7 #3 Posted August 5, 2023 My point was that you won't get the correct relay from Toro and you can get the exact same brand and part number on Ebay.
peter lena 9,112 #4 Posted August 7, 2023 @scrams8g there is a commonality of electrical failures in those units , more often than not , stiff / chafing wiring , cracked / split connectors , poor grounding . this not a quick easy / one and done fix , BTW that CIBIE name is french / lighting / lights . still have a few from back in the day , like aircraft landing lights , turn them on ,and you can see for miles! interstate driving at night , you pick up every reflective sign / for miles , MARSHALL is another french driving light . test light / alligator clip test wires . good luck , pete
