Help with my GT14 Mower Deck

Hey guys.  New to the wheel horse community.  Recently acquired a 73 GT14 and trying to get it all sorted out.  I got the tractor running, but have some questions about how the deck is mounted.  Everything appears to be correct except where the small end of the pivot arm attaches to the tractor.  My tractor does not have this stud on either the tractor or the mower deck.  Is there a bracket missing that attaches to the mower arms with a bolt?  I have attached a picture of the parts diagram.  Any help is appreciated.  Also a couple of pictures of my GT14
