Alternator and water pump belts D-250

Recommended Posts

Hi, my son was given a D-250 that had sat for a few years and we are trying to recover the tractor. All the belts on the water pump and alternator had to be peeked off. We took pictures and have new belts but confused. One belt goes to the crankshaft to the water pump but not sure how it’s tensioned. The other from the water pump to the alternator that has an idler pulley. After disassembly the water pump to crank shaft does not align. If someone has a picture that would help greatly. I added an old photo and the new one. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I found the problem. I put the alternator on with the spacers on the wrong side which offset the pullys. I appreciate he manual and the help. One problem down!
