Dominator 68 #1 Posted July 13, 2023 Hello all, on a c series, I’ve noticed there is a chain that goes to the implement lift. This is new to me. There is a bolt, washer and nut going thru the last link, but it’s not attached to the arm. The drawing shows it goes to the front hole. My question is does the link bolt tight to the arm or should there be some slop in it? The nut is a stop nut. Thanks as always, Dominator
8ntruck 7,831 #2 Posted July 13, 2023 I'm not sure it matters that much. Personally, I'd bolt the link tight to the arm. That will prevent the joint form having slop, which will cause wear on the link, arm, and bolt.
peter lena 9,257 #4 Posted July 13, 2023 @Dominator always snoopin around to see how things are , working , possible issues . while I am there, also check for a no rust connection , any issues ? agree with @8ntruck on the bolt on , always use an elestic nut / washers , for a secure finish. pete
