Pullstart 66,690 #2 Posted June 14, 2023 They both have the mid mount mule drive? I would think they would be plug and play.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,472 #3 Posted June 14, 2023 The model number format changed so the RL-426 and 5-1421 may be identical. Would need to compare ipl's to see. jtrosp1980 89 #6 Posted June 14, 2023 I don't mean to sound uneducated, but I found both units in the chart. Both have a 42" side discharge deck. After that I am lost.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,472 #7 Posted June 15, 2023 Here are 5 files on the RL-426 with one being the OM (operator manual and ipl. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=rl-426&quick=1&type=downloads_file This is what we have for the 5-1421. Some of it may be a repeat https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?&q=5-1421&type=downloads_file&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy Keep the questions coming.
jtrosp1980 89 #8 Posted June 15, 2023 Ok I think I understand here is my question I'm changing the motor out it had a techy puting a Kohler on so I will need the serial number from it not the body correct
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,472 #9 Posted June 15, 2023 You want paper work for the Kohler? Post the numbers off the ID plate Kxxx plus spec number. The serial not necessary but will date the year of manufacture. Post the numbers off the Tecumseh also so we can determine what else is needed to make the change. Model number and serial off the tractor will also help.
jtrosp1980 89 #10 Posted June 15, 2023 The techy was a Hh100 I will get the Kohler when I get home in month
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,472 #11 Posted June 15, 2023 You may have noticed Toro does not recognize the 1057 model number but do recognize the 1257. These models shared a manual. Some how in the past I figured out what engine the 1057 originally used - Kohler K241S-46333d so the HH100 is not original.
jtrosp1980 89 #12 Posted June 19, 2023 Hh100 was on the raider
