Having the shop explains things a bit

I don’t own a spring compressor but will look for a cheap one. I may use it only for this job.

I sent my list to A to Z hope I hope to get a reply this week but will call if I don’t.

I’m finding all types of things doing this so good that I’m. The loose bolts that I found in the head were leaking oil. The gaskets was never seated fully so had there were all kinds on carbon buildup.

The good thing is everything is cleaning up great. Pistons have no play in them at all Everything is smooth as can be.

i think in the end this will turn out great even doing it with the tools I have.

Ordered my valve spring compressor tool and will have it this Sat. All the parts should be here by then so then it is assembly time...

well started a new thread on this but it looks like that missing gasket around the oil filter did what I am reading about cause the valve seat on that side is loose. Guess I will need to check with the old dealer about boring it so I can get a new seat installed.
