Any advise on adding tach-o-matic to RJ?

Gang,

I have a spare tach o matic taking off a 310 or 312 at some point and was wondering if anyone can tell me if I can add this to my restored 58 RJ? I am not looking to hang a deck off it just a mid mount cultivator. Has anyone tried this and what are the problems? I would see right off that i would need to figure out a way to raise and lower. If you have done it, pics of the process or finished product would be great.

This is solely my opinion, but I'd say the mid-engined tractors are a little low for an OEM front cultivator section.

I won't say it's not possible -- but with the footrest and engine location teamed with the lack of height, I'd say it might be a tough install.

From a guy that has probably tried it all I will take your advise. Rear mounted single bottom plow is the way it will stay.
