Recommended Posts

I am in need of a sediment bowl for a 702.  Butterfingers got the best of me and the old one broke.   :(

Welcome - but your request is best posted in the Wanted section of the Forum Classifieds....

There are aftermarket reproductions, but, the size of the glass bowl and gasket most likely be different from an original...

You can get a complete new one on ebay or from Isavetractors.com , but as mentioned above it will be a slightly different size.

Or water separator. They do collect water that would normally pass through the average small engine filters. With a good gasket they don't leak but all of the old ones do because the gasket and the little O ring seal on the valve are always dry rotted. I like them on the old stuff but always couple it with a paper filter too.

Stens makes one that is the same exact size and the fittings are the same. Direct bolt on. I've seen them at tractor supply too.

If I had a dime for every sediment bowl gasket I sold at Napa, I could buy your Wed. Night dinner! :hilarious:

Why, did they leak after the NAPA gasket was used?

No they just leak. A lot of them came originally with a cork gasket. Replacement was rubber. One guy bought 10 one day. ( He had a pile of old Case and Olivers.)
