nylyon-(Admin) 7,131 #2 Posted July 27, 2009 It may depend on the year of your 520, a 1990 takes Toro PN: 113469, where as a 1994 uses PN: 78-0020 (66-2950)

nylyon-(Admin) 7,131 #4 Posted July 27, 2009 I think that most of them came with Hub Caps. The ID tag should be under the seat.

usmc041127 0 #9 Posted July 28, 2009 I dont have a tag on mine. The only thing i seen was a bar code acualy on the seat with a number that been blacked out. I figured they had to have put it on somethng else that wont be replaced as easaly. Seats come and go on a garden tractors. I didn't see a tag or anything on the fender deck or anything. WheelHorse_of_course 99 #13 Posted July 28, 2009 Unless you are a "purist" any 12 volt meter that will fit in the hole will do. I got one off ebay.
mcwh1950 2 #14 Posted July 28, 2009 usmc041127 is there any other way to narrow it down? if you 520h have decal like this it's a 1988 or 89 if decal are like this it's a 1990 or later. hope this help some
Nick 13 #15 Posted July 28, 2009 If it is a 520-H the front axle design and hydro motion lever location should help narrow down the year. Im normally a year off but didnt the hydro control change to dash mounted in 1990 or 1991? The swept forward axle was added to the 520-H in 90 and reduction steering in 91. usmc041127 0 #16 Posted July 28, 2009 mine has to be an older one becaude its a wheelhorse not a toro i dont care what meter its is as long as it fits right and works.
Buzz 502 #17 Posted July 28, 2009 Post all of the numbers off your Onan engine and we can narrow it down pretty close.
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #18 Posted July 29, 2009 USMC Go to ebay and search "hour meter" and there are a bunch on there. Other than 12 volt they are pretty much interchangeable other than the mounting. If yours mounts with screws around the edge (many of the hobbs mount this way) then that is the key feature you will look for. There is a hobbs with the outside screws on there now for a BIN of 15.00 Best of luck, And thanks for serving, :thumbs2:
gwgdog66 23 #19 Posted July 29, 2009 USMC, My old C-160 uses PN# 105868. It is a round one, with a bracket on the back side. Like others have posted, any 12 volt meter will work as long as it fits the mounting hole. We can narrow down the year if you post the engine numbers, if they are still legible.
