now i no why i like the wheel horse so much they are probably the easiest tractor to work on. i got a john deere not to long ago and its not charging and i think the stator is no good and the only way to get to it is to take out the engine what a fun job thats guna be yippy me :thumbs2:

Dan, did you check everything like the reticifier, ignition switch, and all of the connections? Because it may be something stupid you didnt see :thumbs2:

Dan I Know what you mean. Worked on a friends John Deere 212, had to replace the starter and the only way i could get to it is to pull the motor. Damn motor is cradled down in the frame. "BUSTED" a nut getting the damn thing out! Some one should of taken that engineer fom Deere out the back door and SHOT HIM!!

Wheel horse had a simple man design there tractors, for simple minded people! :thumbs2:

ya chris i checked all of them and when i had it running i checked the wires from the stator and nothing from them :thumbs2:

I too, had one John Deere, it failed on the FIRST day I used it, I returned it

to dealer and got my money back. Enough said, fixed my horse to get the

job done! :thumbs2:

I seem to notice many Deeres are flimsy built, difficult to work on, so that's

why I don't have 'em!
