Toro 264-H Rear tyres

Recommended Posts

Invisible

Hi all,

Over in the UK, it is hard to find 23 x 9.50 - 12 tyres which are fitted to the rear of my 264-H (assuming as standard)....

Does anyone know if 23 x 10.50 - 12 will fit on the same rims and with enough clearance, as these are so much more readily available?

Thanks so much !!!

I think you will be fine. The older tires seem to be more true to size. The newer production seem to be smaller so the 10.50  should be fine. Wheel width will work on both sizes

That's great,

I thought that to be the case but thought I would double check before committing to the purchase...

Is it possible to change tyres to the rim without a machine for this size (hence, ones self), I know the smaller fronts were possible this way?

Many thanks for your help....

I prefer letting the tire shop do mine because they can change it and do it quickly with the right tools. Some tires seem to be hard to remove and others hard to mount without the proper equipment. Also I don't mash my fingers when they do it!!

I change 2 and 4 ply at home on the floor there not very hard to do. I bought some 6 ply to put on 8 1/2" rims took one look at them and took them down to the tire store.  He rung them on grabbed his small tire blaster the the tire hardly move. Hung that one back up and grabbed the big one it got it done.
