C-160 LIFT CYLINDER

IM LOOKING TO REPLACE MY LIFT CYLINDER FOR MY 1976 C-160. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS? MY SHAFT IS BENT ON MY OLD ONE. NOT OPPESED TO REBUILDING ONE.

The one below will likely cost more because you said the "shaft" was bent, assuming you meant the piston.

One the piston is bent, it's compromised and likely will bend again.

 

Of course, the only way to bend it is by using a solid lift link for down pressure, as the cylinders on these machines lift on the pull stroke.

 

I think most of the mid lift cylinders are the same dimensions. Do youself a favor and get one that is rebuildable. Supposedly the older welded ones can be cut, rebuilt, and re-welded- but that is alot of work, and I'd be worried that I'd melt the o-rings out of it.
