Doubletrouble 10 #1 Posted July 21, 2009 I'm curious as to what wheels will fit on my '71 work horse 800. Would wheels from a cub or deer fit on mine? I would like to put ag tires on it in the future but I don't want to get rid of the original wheel horse tires so I would like to find a different set of rims to mount the ag's on. Doubletrouble 10 #3 Posted July 21, 2009 I was hoping. If another wheel will fit then I would like to get some 23x10.5x12 ag tires on my tractor. I think they look awsome on a horse.
oldandred 15 #4 Posted July 21, 2009 Ok what do the wheel look like five bolts that hold them on or a clip ring??
Doubletrouble 10 #5 Posted July 21, 2009 They are 5 bolt
Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted July 22, 2009 Most all 5 bolt wheels will fit, from many other brands, 2 things to look for are center hole the right size, and the offset (where the center plate is welded in the outer rim/shell), most WH wheels are welded near the back of the shell, but I have cub wheels on one and bolens on another, yours being a older tractor many more will fit, when you get to the tractors with the gas tank under the fender you have less room. Doubletrouble 10 #7 Posted July 22, 2009 ok, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if other wheels would bolt up.
Ted Wendel 0 #8 Posted July 22, 2009 Toro part number 110680 is what I got for my 1989 414-8,they should fit yours also. They are 12" x 8.5" 5 lug. I can measure the lug circle if you need. They are silver,I don't know if they have any in off white.
Doubletrouble 10 #9 Posted July 22, 2009 Can I ask? How much were they? I can check the lug circle on mine but I think those would probably match up.
dr74go 1 #10 Posted July 22, 2009 I recently bought a set of rims for my 520-H from Kart Wheels for (I think) $90.00. I think they sell on ebay. They are white or off white and are 5 lug. As someone else stated, you need to check the backspacing and the bolt pattern. I tried Cub Cadet rims on mine and they would not fit. The backspacing was too deep. The rims I bought have a very narrow backspacing. The flange is about an inch from the inside lip of the rim. They also have the rims with the deeper backspacing. Doubletrouble 10 #11 Posted July 22, 2009 Thanks Danny, I'll check around and see what I can find. It's not a pressing issue. I just like the looks of them and I would think they would be better in the winter for snow removal. I have a blower to mount on the front of the horse to clear the driveway. The chains I'm sure work well but I can justify the expence this way to the wife. LOL
