Tonytoro416 1,171 #1 Posted December 4, 2022 I was wanting to verify crankshaft size on this Tecumseh engine. Looked through some manuals and other articles but seemed I couldn’t get a clear answer. Are the crankshaft 1.125” on these engines not 1”? many help would be appreciated. I know there are some super sharp guys on here and some that are really into the the Tecumseh engines. Thanks in advance
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,472 #2 Posted December 4, 2022 Are you looking for the pto shaft dimensions? I don't think you will find them because there are many depending on the application.

Yeah, it's been a long time since I had a HH80 in the shop, but I recall that the crank output shaft on the ones I have seen are 1-1/8" Don
Snoopy11 5,718 #4 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) As well, if memory serves, using model HH80-110000D as an example, the part number for that engines crankshaft is 32007C. Having said that, the same crankshaft was used in model HH100 and HH120 engines. The same camshaft and starter are used in the above engines as well. Camshaft part number being 32150 (same camshaft from a HH100 engine also matched the HH120 that I rebuilt). That cam is also replacement part number for HH80-110000D. The major differences in the solid state HH80-HH120 engines are the rod lengths and bore. I will try to think of the starter part number for those engines... Snoopy11 5,718 #5 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) Starter is same for HH80, HH100, HH120 solid state engines... Part number 32817. Had to look at my receipts, but I got it! My thoughts along with my experience is... solid state Tecumseh engines were very similar and used many of the same parts. Snoopy11 5,718 #6 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) I will have to do more research, or get input from other members but I do not believe that a Kohler K181 carburetor will fit a solid state HH80. Maybe other members will chime in that have more knowledge of that. I know for a fact that the Kohler K181 carburetor will fit HH100 and HH120 engines.
