Butch 194 #1 Posted July 16, 2009 Will this work on my 314-8? Is there other parts or linkage I need to go with it? Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/Wheel-Horse-mower-deck...3A1%7C294%3A200 Sorry for the long link but I haven't figured out how to shorten those things. Butch S. Butch 194 #2 Posted July 16, 2009 Hmm. The link shortened itself. Butch S. Jersey
CasualObserver 3,411 #3 Posted July 16, 2009 yeah Butch, the links truncate themselves. If you want to use different text for a link, such as... ebay link use the http:// button when you're typing your post (right next to the IMG button) and then paste the long link in the first box, and write your text in the second box. If you just copy and paste the link into the post, it uses the link as it's own text and truncates it. In your edit window it should look like this: ebay link look carefully, and you can see where the link is and where the text is. Clear as mud? Oh... and for the part.... what are you looking to use it for... the dial-a-height adjuster is typically for ground engaging attachments... I've never used it for a mower.... that's what the gauge wheels are for. The adjuster itself just bolts to the side of the tower and you set how far you want your lift handle to go forward (or how low you want your attachment to go)
bitten 134 #4 Posted July 18, 2009 Butch Im not positive on this but I think you need the other kind for your 314. I added it to my 310.
Stigian 1,234 #5 Posted July 26, 2009 Hi Butch, have you thought about making your own height adjuster thingy? Here's one I make for my 312-8, the body panel that slots behind the lift handle needed a bit of trimming to get it to fit back, but not too much. Hope this helps you
