112418 seat switch

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know who makes the 112418 or 114240 416-8 seat switch (3 position)?

Is it possible to use a 106268 seat switch from a 310-8 and have it work where the engine stops when the PTO is engaged and the seat is up?

Thanks,

Mort

The short answer is yes.

Here is a list of applications for the 106268. It is a normally open two wire two position switch, the 112418 and 114240 switches (listed below) are both normally open three wire two position switches. The third wire is for an indicator light so if you use the 106268 switch you will not have the indicator light. The white wire from the seat switch feeds the indicator light and would be abandon if the two wire switch is used. The orange and yellow wires are for the seat safety switch.

I had to buy one when I restored my 1981 C125.  It is made by Eaton, P/N 8411K11.  an alternate P/N is 8411K12.  I bought it on Amazon in 2017 for $8.33
