Toolmanbill 19 #1 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted a no spark issue last week.tried working on this without any luck.finally gave up and had dealer pickup.of course once it arrived it hasn’t been able to repeat itself.is there any history of this issue? I hate to have it returned to me with nothing accomplished. I’d have to pay 150.00$ for nothing.it is a 314-8 model 73400 .seems as though the seat switch and pto switch work. squonk 39,112 #3 Posted October 21, 2022 Check the spark plug cable where it comes out of the magneto. This will involve removing the engine shroud. Had a youngster bombing around our steam show with a 314. He parked it to eat lunch and went back and it wouldn't start. He asked for help so we pushed it to my site. I checked all the safety's and they were fine. I told him to find another magneto coil.
