Snoopy11 5,717 #1 Posted September 29, 2022 Hey guys, So... I'm trying to find the correct spark plug for the engine on the 718-Z. The spark plugs on it are not in terrible shape once I remove them... but I can BARELY read the numbers on them on the outside... I think it says Autolite #26? I just wanted to verify this with you guys before I buy some new ones... I think those are the correct plugs... but I would appreciate any advice that you guys can give... I just found a cross reference, so on the M18 you can use: AUTOLITE 26 CHAMPION RV17YC NGK UR4 Don
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,259 #4 Posted September 30, 2022 Cross reference will give you plugs with identical physical characteristics but you should go the plug manufacturer's catalog to get the correct plug heat range. The plug maker knows best what works in the application and the cross reference does not always reflect that.
