Anyone here close to Route 30, near St. Thomas, PA? I saw a horse for sale, looked in great shape, but did not stop becasue my dad said we need to find an older one.

There's a guy from st. thomas that sells wheel horse stuff on ebay often.

That guys name is Marvin (last name omitted for privacy reasons) and he goes by "justebyit" on the ever-popular eBay.

He actually bought two 551 Suburbans and a Power King from me a few years ago and seemed like an "alright guy".

I'm not sure exactly where he lives but his listings state St. Thomas, PA for the location. It's hard for me to believe that he's selling a complete tractor since his niche seems to be buying whole units and parting for $$$$$ but I guess there's an exception to every rule. :ychain:

Well , after some dicusion, the wife & I went to look at what he had.

and to my suprise he had a 414-8 with a NEW mower deck & all but new snow blade.

The tractor is in real good shape & he's asking $1000.00

He said the deck was $900.00 alone

I asked him if he wanted to sell the blade, till he said he wanted $400.00 for it.

All & all, seams like a good old boy & nice tractor for the price
