    753 wiring.

    zanepetty posted a topic in Wheel Horse Electrical

    I'm trying to wire up my 753 tractor. I thought it was right but when I touched the cables to the battery there was a lot of smoke and the wires to the ammeter were fried. Also the resistor smokes a little when the key is turned on. I have the manual but I can't make heads or tales of that diagram. I don't see the solenoid or resistor or any of that on there. Also my wires were all one color. Any help is greatly appreciated.
