Help an aussie owner try to track down some details!

Hi all. We bought a wheelhorse second hand a number of years ago,and we are having trouble trying to track down the details to get a manual.for some reason model numbers and engine numbers dont match- go figure! OK what we do have is: 14-38HXL 28N777 1174E1 9805005ZD-i have checked this code a number of times andi t ifs definately right on the plate. can anyone tell me the year model and the actual model number? And where oh where i can find ACTIVE links to all manuals possible for this please???? we are having troubles with it- when we jump start it off the car it will try and turn over,but when we put the sparkplug back in it losesallcompression. have NO IDEA what is wrong.
