I picked up a early 60s lawn ranger with a 6 hp Tecumseh that had been in storage for 9 years. The guy told me to flush the tank change points and condenser. I did so pluse new fuel line. The old points looked good but I changed then anyways. It has good compression and spark but seems to be lacking fuel. I can prime the carb with a little gas and get it to fire but will only run for a few seconds until it burns that fuel off. Before I tear into the carburetor I wanted to get some second opinions.
