our 16 hp puller was running good but we wanted a little more umph, so I thought I would tear it down and put in a 18hp cam and freshin it up a little. I took the head off and found some scoring on the cylinder this cant be good. then pulled the pan and to our supprise there was a bunch of big metal pieces floating around down there. turns out both of the skirts were busted off of the piston. everything else looks ok. I ordered a new rod,piston and cam today once they arive we will be off to the machine shop. here are some pictures.
