Going to upgrade one of the horses with this new hood ornament I got from 3D Graphics

Spent a lot of time mowing our yard with one of these 60 years ago... Self propelled did an OK job but the stalks of narrow leaf plantain were usually left standing. bought this one as a memory but don't use it... Sharpening was easy you added a few links to the drive chain and put an idler sprocket in the top bracket. Smeared some valve grinding compound on the blades and ran it. It spun the backward and sharpened them.

I have no clue but if you tell me where them horses at I'll find out.... Rest assured I'll report back the results.

Put a new rubber grommet and fuel shut off on my C105. Got them from Lowell at wheelhorsepartsandmore and as always, perfect! Was dripping a bit and with fuel prices on the rise, I figured I better get it fixed before I go broke...

OK., I'll log this in my family bible under significant events.

Today I cut out the wheel wells in order to get the hubs as close to the frame as possible. Too much axle beyond the frame increases the chance of it bending. But this post compares two different methods, The correct way that dells68 did it, a work of art vs. the way I'm doing it. I'll see how far I can get before "throwing in the towel" lol

Running over the grass and matting it down before trying to cut it doesn't seem like the best lawn care approach and beating it off with a dulling blade may work though that's not the best either but this looks awkward. Anyone have actual experience using something like this? Too many trees and flowerbeds here but those open areas might look a lot better. Or am i wrong? Don't know... You?

My red ‘83 Ranger got a heart transplant. It went from a 2.8L 4 speed to a 5.0L (306ci) 5 speed with GT40 heads, roller rockers, and an Edlebrock 4 barrel. It’s taken a couple years and it still needs a few tweaks but it is a lot of fun. IMG_7765.MOV IMG_7783.MOV

I finally got around to installing a driveway gate with an opener. The main posts are 4' deep since the soil is sandy here the secondary's are 3' . So 50 bags of Fast Setting Concrete later . . .

Dennis, looks are not deceiving! The mower sticks out far enough that maneuverability suffers and you will have Popeye the sailor man arms from lifting it. However it is about the best attention getting attachment ever made for the RJ/Suburban.

@pullstart...you should put your overdue sister in law in the wagon and take her for a ride over those ruts. Speed up the labor a little

Remember, nothing about W-H is ever set in stone. They're not unheard of, a couple have surfaced here over the years. What model is the one you're looking at now? Copy and paste a couple picts here into this thread please.

A 12 horsepower Kohler and an 8 speed transmission, a perfect match to do about anything you ask of it!

That one heck of a chrome or stainless front grill. As to its model and year, Its a one of a kind Frankenhorse

I'd suggest trying to find a basket case WH. Probably easier and cheaper and having spare parts around is handy! I'd get it mechanically sound and keep the altered sheet metal.

I re tapped mine at M 2.5 and used brass screws with loctite. Usual practice is to peen over the ends to stop them vibrating loose. Mick

Am new to group and don’t know if I am doing this right but will try. 3112k801 10571 is under the seat. Would like to change drive belt. I think the replacement belt Toro#7473. From what I understand you must remove both the seat and footrest to access everything. Then depress clutch to get slack and remove from front pulley. Loosen clutch pulley to remove. Any thoughts, is this correct? Any links on videos to watch? One more thing, buy these numbers would anyone know the year? I think it’s around 1990. Thank you for your help

I have included front axles and rear fenders for both standard 8-16 rear tires, and large 8-24 rear tires in this download. You will find a selection of tires and wheels for the GT models in a separate download. These fun little models are easy to print and assemble. Most components can be printed without support once you orient them correctly. Assembly is easy, you will need a hobby knife or drill bits, super glue, a few cm of filament, and .055" wire for axles and steering column, any diameter around that will work, the holes are undersized and can be drilled to fit. You will find holes which mate up between components, simply insert a piece of 1.8mm filament, trim to fit, and glue each piece together using the filament as alignment. Dry fit first, you may find you need the filament to hold several components together!

One of the reasons I think they advented lift assist springs. Gotta keep in mind tho in the sixties yards were pretty square and flat and not the complicated affairs nowadays.

The GT-14's have a nipple molded in, so you have to cut it off and smooth it flat, then drill a hole for the grommet. I know there is a thread somewhere here on it, but I can't find it!! Randy

Always had an issue with fuse spay connect in fuse box, got this cover, no more loose fuses!

The posts are a true 6" in diameter so more wood. 6x6 square treated are actually 5.5"x5.5" in reality and looked too small from a distance. Plus I wanted the multi-dimensional beefier look, not single posts if that makes sense. Posts are cheap down here at Sparr Farm Supply. They make the actual poles in nearby Tarrytown, FL.

Very cool looking tractor. Judging by the dash tower I would guess that it started out life as a 1964 model 604 or a 704.

A while back I ordered a banner for the back window of Norman, and the 13th Anniversary RedSquare banner... well I just opened the little box today. It’s too cold to apply Norman’s decal ya know. ok I was wrong. 3-48 X 1/4" for stock Kohler shafts on Carter and Kohler # 26,28 & 30 carbs. 4-40 used on Walboro and can be used on Kolher carbs if the 3-48 strips out and you need to go over size. http://gardentractorpullingtips.com/a1carb.htm

The local Ace has an assortment of gun hardware. I'll check to see if they have any thing in a 3-48. If not I will grab some 4-40's, @AMC RULES suggestion would be a good route also. Thanks guys!!
