11 pointsThe Hanover, Pa . eagles are working preparing the nest for the Feb. egg laying. Visit HDontap for details and dates when the live cameras go on line. Meanwhile I am occupied watching my own eagles. View out my kitchen window this morning. This immature eagle was here yesterday.

7 pointsI moved from the snow plow to a snowblower! Kinda sorta refurbished! New chain, bearings all throughout, new sprockets, along with the auger sprocket. New paint on the chute, auger box... everything but the auger! I was working on it this month, and it was cutting it close! Boy... don’t she throw the snow!!😁💪👍

6 pointsEric what have you been doing on this project? We want to see some progress. You have been at this for 3 1/2 months all we've seen is the frame and the extension block.and I think a couple of tires. Not even sure you ordered the tires it's been so long. Richie started a new project a week ago and already has a rolling chases. Ready to mount the engine.

3 pointsCould it be 236636? Found this https://www.partstree.com/parts/kohler-a-236636 One of the replacements 4785331 is listed for a K321 and M14. It is listed in this manual which has left and right pages in book form. Makes it hard to follow. The carb numbers could be on the left or right side of the page. Garry

3 pointsSo my wife works as a A&P mechanic for American Airlines at ORD (Chicago O'Hare) and we love to travel....especially on her travel benefits. This years adventure was to Cambodia. We started in Phnom Penh, then went up to the Mondulkiri area to visit an elephant sanctuary, and then our final stop was Ankgor Wat. Attached are a few of many pics to highlight the trip..... I saw a lot of tractors along the way, but most of them were bigger than our WH types and most were the almighty orange Kubota's.

3 pointsI’m looking to finish this big wall today. Random layouts and stack ups, until it looks just right! I of course had some professional advice from Mrs. P. I guess I’d have to pay for the flack I’d receive if it wasn’t right... I’ve got my columns stacked up and ready to cut my first piece and go!

2 pointsSo the other day I opened my back door only to find out the metal clad on the outside fell off. That's when I Took my finger to touch it and pushed it all the way through. Yikes! Called Pella to get just a replacement slab with glass and no hardware.l was told it was $2000. Yikes again! So I'm going to pick up lumber next week to build another door to fit the hardware and the glass. This Otto be a fun but challenging project.

2 pointsThis was a bad storm we had lots of ice with some snow. So The B80 8 came thru again. That plow kicks but period. With a little pressure on the handle and it digs down to the pavement. A big.

2 pointsagree dark at night was something my wife had to get used to when we moved into our current house we don't have any window coverings - and total dark spooked her lol
-
2 pointsthe lack of daylight can be a bummer - I know it was for me ( and still is ) years ago when I got into bicycling (to keep in shape for motorcycling) - got into off road bicycle night riding ... that was a blast ... and made the months with short daylight more passable also installed lights on a road bike I would use at times to ride at / near a community park
-
2 pointswe don't get good sunsets at our house - but get good early morning sunrise

-
2 pointsI was considering that too @ebinmaineif i cant get one on evilbay. all id have to do is get some thinner plate steel and drill my holes where i need to then weld nuts on the opposite side and bolt everything up. It would be a very simple job for my little harbor freight welder

2 pointsXi attachments are pretty much Xi only. The transmission is shaft driven, not the deck. Hydraulics could be expanded but it would be something you would have to custom do as far as I know. Like posted, the kohler v twins have plenty of parts support. Tractors..... somewhat. If you were a collector and had to have wheelhorse... choice made. Finding all the attachments plus a tractor for 2k might be hard, depending on location. You wanting all those attachments and auxiliary hydraulics... take the cub.

2 pointsThe tub surround is finished, I will start the big wall now. So much tile!

2 pointsI can see the concept of that working quite well. The only problem I have with it is it would reduce my seat time.
-
2 pointsYep mike, if I could get her in the house I would do. First outing today in the driveway, all seems good with the new wheels and hubs at the front. Got to make a PTO brake as that bit is missing. Not a big job. Just chatting with an exhaust fabricator to see if I will need to sell a kidney to get a shiny new muffler.
-
2 pointsHe is a damn nice guy and his tractors are like art. It’s going to be great to have a professional living right behind me for advice 👍
-
2 pointsWith the help of a 4’ level to scribe a guide line and a small shop level on a piece of steel stock, I was able to get quite a bit of tile on the wall. Good news is with so few vertical pieces, I’m not afraid to go floor to ceiling in one day!

2 pointsYoooo izz gonna needa bigga building... I started out with 1 about three years ago and then my Honey bought one. Now we have two each, running. Also one project each. Also another one in the waiting for her mom. I may possibly also have something else showing up on Saturday.....

2 pointsThe lift is actually available at Harbor Freight. i have used a 20 off coupon on it. You will never see them displayed in the store, but they usually have them in the back storage area. I use mine all the time. Stuff like welding things at a comfortable height , loading stuff on a truck. You name it. They are rated at 1100 pounds, but I feel that 750 is more like it if you want to be safe. Harbor Freight weight ratings are sort of like dog years to me... Here is the link. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=high position motorcycle lift What a bargain at $160 using the coupon

2 pointsI do plan to open up the belt guard area and order a gasket for between the shroud and oil filter- couldnt believe how much air comes out around there that would otherwise be directed across the cooling fins. Summers here in NC get plenty hot and although theres only an acre to mow, I have a feeling this ol girl will also be putting in a garden, pulling stumps, dragging firewood, cleaning ditch lines, etc.... shes gonna get used! Thanks for all the replies- good group of folks!

2 pointsWell this afternoon “Dirtpoor” stopped by for a visit and some horse talk, turns out he lives in the same neighborhood as I do, I also had a chance to give his tractors a quick once over and he’s got a couple of nice projects. Welcome to the forum and the addiction “Dirt”. Nice to meet you! It’s good to have another W. H. guy so close.

2 pointsNice pictures. Looks like it was a good trip. We've enjoyed the travel that we've been able to do over the years. Mission trips to Central America, South America, Check Republic, business trips to Europe, Scandinavia, Mexico, and South America. We've never been to the Far East, though. What I've learned is that people are pretty much the same the world over. Learning about the cultural differences is the interesting and valuable part of the experience.

2 pointsHere's the heat collector Jim @WHX24 mentioned. The belt guard is vented and the cab stays 30F above outside temp. Like stated above, keep the fins clean and the oil filter/tin seal in place and with the opened belt guard, the rear cylinder should not overheat. When you take the tins off to clean the fins, look for an oil leak under the oil filter mounting bracket. It is fastened to the block with two bolts and has a very narrow sealing gasket. If this drips oil, it is blown across the fins and makes a sticky mess that collects grass clippings clogging the fins. Enjoy the 520....she is a snorting monster.

2 pointsI just got this I used it once very surprised at how well it did for the condition of this tractor.
-
2 pointsMy wife wants me to show her how to use the plow ... says it looks like fun. I keep telling her it is very very complicated !Not sure how long that will work.
-
2 pointsWe shot a K57/PKM belt fed machine gun. The ranges there have everything from an M16 to an RPG. Prices vary from $1.50/round for M16 and AK47 to $500 per RPG round. It's a total tourist trap, but a lot of fun if you're into that kind of stuff. We shot AK47's during our trip to Vietnam 4 years ago so I felt this time we should step it up.
-
2 pointsI fixed wheels to my lift so as to be able to lift and move the tractors. Sitting in a folding chair and being able to rest rear tires on my lap to mount is really worth it. These little lifts slide under tables and take up very little floor space. Tractors shown are an electro 12 and a 1075
