15 points@19richie66 @PeacemakerJack @ebinmaine My Big Wheel friends, @953 nut and I made a deal! There’s an RJ-58 around the corner too
-
8 pointsCan’t leave we’ll enough alone! Rylee drove it for an hour or three, I jump on it 15 minutes and already need to wrench just a 15 amp fuse to the key switch. I found no dead short with my meter, so I hope it was just a fluke! See what I did there? Meter.... Fluke... that was bad as an EB joke...
-
8 pointsexactly. I really wish I was there but I have bigger things happening here. Sign is in the yard. It’s for real.

7 pointsI always hear about the "Other Guy" getting a great BARN FIND. Well today was MY lucky day A guy I work with sent me a picture of a Wheel Horse that was in his uncles barn. It was really hard to tell what it was other than a tractor. The picture was totally BROWN from the years of dirt. He did uncover the ID Tag.....It is a 1994 416-8 He wanted to know if I would be interested? Right!!!! Got it home, sprayed it with cleaner then turned on the water (it was RED underneath the brown) A new battery, a new fuel line and filter. Filled it with gas and checked the oil And then..........Mowed the front yard $400 so what do ya think??
-
6 pointsGot this last night, not currently running, needs some rewiring, battery, troubleshooting.....claimed it ran about 5 years ago, 180$ for the whole shabang!!! Not a wheelhorse plow that I can tell, but parts is parts!!! Only real downside, it was a looooooooooooooooooonng drive to get it. Whew!!!! I reflected on some of my life choices, whew!!!!
-
6 pointsThat's way too nice a tractor for the likes of you... I got a rat 953 that would have been more up your alley! Who the old fart photobombing!?!?! Best go over to Dino's truck and haul an orange genny over to his truck for him! Make sure he's got a seat for me! Looks like yer girl went to Craig's school of improper footwear when tractoring!
-
6 pointsSooo, which one/ones are you taking apart so that you can fit it/them in the camper for the ride home??

4 pointsThe C series are great all around work tractors. The C-80 or 81 (8hp) to the C-160 or 161 (16hp) share all the same parts except the bigger engine. So a 10 HP C-101 is overbuilt in many ways.
-
4 pointsWell its a combo of dusty glasses im looking through and maybe my second black and tan !! I’ll try and focus!

3 pointsIt's ok Randy. They almost definitely fill it up every time with ethanol. That should cancel out all the rain water..... Probably.

3 pointsMade it to the motel! Excited about the show in the morning! The trailer we used is borrowed, had tires I didn’t trust to make the trip with so bought brand new tires! They are wearing very badly so somethings up with that. It has been a strange trip. While in the high altitudes the side window of our vehicle blew out, just shattered don’t know if it’s the altitude for the conflict in temperature but it made us wake up! Night everyone! We hope to meet everyone at the show!
-
3 pointsI'd still start at $300 and you'll probably wind up with it for $400. Start at $400 and you probably won't get it for much less than the asking price. Good deal either way.

3 pointsRecently picked up this little guy for fifty bucks. I have decided to do a ground up custom restoration job on it. Plans include larger wheels. Rounded rear fender. Older rounded metal seat. Custom metal cast red candy paint job with ivory details. I drove over the road. So the progress will be slow. But here's hoping to enjoy it next year with my grandson. Thanks

3 pointsIt really surprises me what a little K181 on my 876 can do! I sold my old parts truck today and pulled it out to where the tow truck can access it easier. I didn't need to but an excuse for more seat time!

2 pointsNow here is a sad sight to see. Here at work they were doing some work burying utilities in our parking lot. Of course we all know what this machine does but the point is it has been sitting in the same spot for over two weeks in the rain not covered up. And they wonder why it won’t start the next time ! I sure hope they don’t own a WH!!

2 pointsHa, haaaaa, yessssss. another bit closer finished with the Short Frontlift. i concepted it from Metal of the Scrap yard. 2Heavy Fueltank consoles from a Mercedes Truck, that carry‘s a 600litres Fueltank. And 2 another Consoles, the kept heavy Stuff. both made from 5mm Steel, what shall be enough for a 500kilo counterweight Lifter. All Parts are Screwed, to be able to exchange them. i mounted them to use them also as a simple Frontlift for Graderblade, snowplow or similar purposes. The Hydraulics i have in spare from my first FEL concept, but it was to short with 10cm liftheight, to drop the shovel completley. It is able to lift 2Tons, what shall be more than enough for my Purposes. It was a doubleaction cylinder, so that i also be able to Lift the Beast to change tyres. The Lift capacity i need will be 480 Kilos, what is the max. load on Front Axle calculated weight and measured Weight includes FEL, Frontlift and Tractorweight itself. The hydraulics shall be a combination of frontlift and FEL Steering in once. The lower Mountingpoint on the hooks was actually a M10 thread but it will be enhanced to 16mm. The real FEL will be made to use in combination. For that issue i must finish the Frontlift ahead, to see where i have planingmistakes while use now allready things they will be missused what causes their size and measurements differs to my preplaned System. On the other Hand it must be a universal usable for things i still have in schedule, but they didn‘t still exists now. after the Plain mechanics is finished, i put a little Blue color on it, to get it more familar with the Tractor.

2 pointsI assume you have a K181 engine. Try searching with that info. Generally, the main needle should be about 2 1/2 turns out; low speed needle 1 1/2 to 2.

2 points@mhlmeader If I were you, I'd lie real low, the WH police bound to be looking for you. Were you wearing a or do they have your picture You got a great tractor and a great deal STEAL

2 pointsA C weighs about 575 to 600 without the plow or wheel weights. Roughly twice the weight of an average new fangled throw away LT. So your size assumption is about right. Parts availability is fantastic. No worries there at all. Best to avoid the 200 series if you're looking for a tow rig. B or C would suit you better.

2 pointsTook the 753 with me to work today so I could fix the leaking tire on the front...got ready to load it back up and my old buddy wanted to take it for a spin...I’d say by the look on his face he was having fun. Went by the storage shed on my way home and robbed the battery out of the Commando V8 to put in the C125 so I can take it with me tomorrow and fix the leaking tire on it as well.
