Got home today after a long day at work, found this in my driveway, knew right away who it was from, a friend of mine original owner, says all it needs is a carb cleaning, and a battery and she will run, nice original condition. Think im going to clean her up, some fresh decals and use her as a general yard tractor.

Had a few friends over the house this morning, and decided to fire up some old iron for fun. Figured you'd all like some of these ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slKi-GJT1nQ

Today I saddled up the 1960 horse and put her to eating grass! Not the fastest but man it cuts great! Gets lots of looks as people drive by! Time to clean her back off and let her relax!

I have been a St. Louis Blues fans since day one. I lived through the Red Berenson years, the Garry Unger years, the Bernie Federko/Brian Sutter era, saw Brett Hull score 86 goals, see the team win the President's Trophy, seen Chris Pronger and Al MacInnis defense years. I seen the team at it's worst when Emile Francis took over in the late 70s and saw Ralson Purina buy the team and rename the St. Louis Arena to the Checkerdome. I had to endure the Mike Keenan fiasco, and see The Great One come only to dissed the team for New York Rangers. After all that, to see the team teased the city and it's fans with great teams only to lose in the first or second round of the playoffs. Then, for the first time in the team's existence, from 1967 to now, to see the Blues actually win the Stanley Cup. It was almost as magical and unseemly as the Cubs winning the World Series. Finally!!!!!

Put the frontsie on the backsie and put two coats of etching primer on, figured I'd better stop before I messed up too badly, reevaluate some life choices and such....

It wasn't advertised. A friend of mine lives next to the PO and told me he was going to sell. Not sure what I'm doing with it. Turns out the original owner is a well known hall of fame baseball player. I have some research to do. A couple more pics.

Does this help Robbie? Oh, ACE is the place.

Twisted together & taped is still better than having a Scotchlok in a wire harness. IMO If I happen to find Scotchloks in a friend's garage, I kindly throw them away before they can cause a problem.

Saw this item on CL Bloomington, IN. Someone has gone to a lot of work admittedly, and it is very well done. No argument there. But I think they are hoping to win the lotto with a price tag of $7900.

I had to move all the show stuff out to make room for the new 854 load I picked up today. So, I packed the first load that will be at the show on Thursday morning. See if you can find the items you have purchased on the Show buy/sell thread. This will be coming on the second load on Friday morning.

To be a vendor at the show you must be a paid up member of the Wheel Horse Collector Club. Then you can contact Eric Johnson who is in charge of vendor spaces. He is a member here @ericj but should be contacted via his contact information on the club's show flyer.

Tink Tink! The air filter from Richard is dripping some excess oil out over the drain pan, Lucas is in the engine, choke and throttle cables are hooked up, the transmission is burped, now just some nice weather to touch up those front wheels and we’re rolling!

Wiring is finished! It’s time to throw the tank back on, hook up the fuel line, install the hood and fire this off!

Price it right and it will not have to go back home with you. Remember, people are looking for deals.

I could find something like that in my driveway, IF I PAID FOR IT.

You could post the items for sale here to see who may be interested in buying them before the show.

I've never heard of a Tecumseh that has a reverse rotation on the crank. As long as the recoil (rope) starter pulls to turn the flywheel side clockwise, it should be the same as your old engine. The recoil starter should be held on by four bolts, and can be removed and rotated to where the pull direction is appropriate for your machine. If it's not removable, you might want a different engine with the recoil handle in the right position. Good luck, Jim

I don't remember the exact correct hole but have been told it makes a difference on lift ease and height, which hole on the lift arm that you put the flag pin in. It's easy enough to swap hole if you don't like the ease of lift or the height. Also to raise lift height you can add washers over the shaft on the flag. good luck eric j

Agreed Bob! Problem is at shows we often combine Miller Time with a nite "booze cruise"

Hi all. Maybe no one missed me, but just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and still vertical to the ground. Sorry I haven't been around lately and have missed a lot of good stuff I'm sure, but have been dealing with some family emergencies that have put all things Wheel Horse on the back burner for the last few months. Today is the first that I have even logged into the website since I can't remember when. Anyway, just wanted to check in and say and hopefully can get back into active participation in the near future. And also did want to mention, if the stars align right, I am planning on attending the Big Show and hopefully get the opportunity to finally meet many of you in person.

It outta look pretty good. It’s brand spankin new Yep, 1156’ers. Bought some of the LEDs for our real work tractor. Used them maybe once, the sockets never wanted to stay connected to the lens assembly. One came loose one day while mowing and blew the fuse (that how I learned the location of the fuse). Did it once more, clipped the wires. Bob’s New Rule: If it’s too dark to do yard work.....It’s Miller Time!

Scotchloks are for emergencies only. Then fix it right and throw it away

Noticed while I was starting to assemble the hood that I only had two hood ornaments. One with one of the "legs" broken off and the other was full of pits and cracks in the chrome. I tried cleaning up the unbroken one (used to work pretty good on some of the chrome on a couple of cars when I was a LOT younger) It wasn't working too well. Then I thought.....well maybe... Sanded the ornament down to smooth and gave it a shot of gloss. So what do ya think of my solution?????
