7 pointsSo the other day I posted about loosing seat time to my oldest son Aiden who is 9. He plowed a bunch of my parents yard with my 753. Well after seeing that post @ebinmaine generously gave him a plow that I was picking up in New York for him along with a rolling chasis and a snow thrower for myself from @Herder. Well when Aiden got home this afternoon from ice fishing he wanted me to install the plow so he could use it. For the time being it is on my Bronco 14 but once I fix the engine on his 1277 it will be mounted to that. I have wheel weights I am gonna install on it this week since he is so light (I don't have that problem) This summer I hope we can work together cleaning it up and painting it. As of right now tho he is one happy kid. He would still be out plowing in the yard if we didn't have a super bowl party to go to. @ebinmaine thanks so much from Aiden and I since I can now get seat time again! I threw a picture of his 1277 in for good measure.

7 pointsI should have stayed in the garage... but my wife deep fried (keto oils of course) some chicken wings and gave them a lime juice and black pepper taste. That was the best part of the night!
-
6 pointsI spent $14 on chicken wings and potato wedges only to end up watching some show on Nat Geo before I fell asleep. Think I watched 10 minutes of the The Super Bored and then fell asleep watching a show about meerkats.

5 pointsI wanted to let you guys know that Glen Pettit now makes these throttle handle knobs in a white color. I just got this one for my RJ. Great work Glen and thank you for everything you do!

5 pointswhguy413, the memories and the I can do it mentality, that you have supported with your son, is what its all about. that baseline is vital , yet is totally missing today. stay after it , support it, ask him for input and what he has learned from driving, while you are on a roll ,enhance it ,so its interesting to him, draw him in. good job on that dad , pete

5 pointsWe watched the "Puppy Bowl", great game! The Kitten Half Time Show was the cat's meow!

5 points@WHGuy413 thanks for the pics. One of the easy ways to get the younger generation involved in our hobby of to give them opportunities to use these cool little tractors doing “fun” activities like plowing snow, routine yard work, plowing gardens, etc. Whats cool about it is that they are being taught responsibility while helping get chores done! Well done sir. Thanks for the

5 pointsThere's a lot to explain there and I don't know all of it but I can give you a start The difference in frame length is from the front step mount rod (or Stirrup rod) to the front of the tractor. Short frames were the early models and were mostly Small blocks (8 HP or less). Long frames became available in the mid 60s to accommodate the bigger engines and Implements. B series from 74 to around 77 were medium frames. B series from 78 - 81 were lighter duty with vertical shaft engines. (Lawn mower). C series from 74 to (83?) Were 3 different models and all long frames. D series were an entirely different animal all together and were made for Wheelhorse. (In Germany?) Number Tractors... 3,4,5 series were all long frames and successors to the C series. Someone else can chime in to explain those better.

4 pointsChocking a K90/91 on an RJ is accomplished using the lever on the carb...from the factory, there was never a remote cable to control it.
-
4 pointsI appreciate the kudos guys but I believe in giving credit where it is actually due. The generosity and assistance actually began with @Herder giving Trina a tractor and extended to the OP here. @WHGuy413 is the one who offered to pick up the rolling chassis from @Herder in New York for me and cut my trip in half or more. I'm super glad to be a part of this group and those two guys definitely deserve more credit....

4 pointsYou’re very generous Eric @ebinmaine. Its nice to see RedSquare members helping out other members and inspiring our Jr. Members.

4 pointsI am a supporter of freedom of speech and freedom of the press! BUT, when the press makes heroes of multimillionaire sports and movie star protesters and doesn't give more than lip service to our veterans who have protected those rights I am offended. That is one of the things I like best about NASCAR Racing, they include the playing of our National Anthem and every driver and team stands with hand over heart, including Danial Suarez, a Mexican citizen who is very respectful of the privileged this country has offered him.

3 pointsYeah NAPA has it in bulk. Mike @squonk was making some for guys at the BS last year he might even know part nos. It's just standard inductive core cable. Even comes in RED! https://www.ebay.com/i/380900662451?chn=ps

3 pointsThanks guys!! I'm sure when I get home today he is gonna wanna plow snow again. It's only supposed to be 55 degrees! Good thing we have a huge yard.

3 pointsI miss working on Frank. Thanks for giving us the play by play, this tractor is more exciting than any big game that aired yesterday...

3 pointsThe 74 & 75 B's were the medium frame and the 76 & 77 B's were long frame like the C's and 300-500 series. The only difference between the B's and C's in 76 & 77 were the rear tire size, 22.750 vs 23.850, low back vs high back seat, 13" vs 15" steering wheel, headlights were optional on the B's, std on C's, only 7, 8 and 10 hp on the B's and a couple other minor things. Starting in 78 the B's became lawn tractors as you mentioned. There were no more short or medium frame tractors after 75 not considering the lawn tractors. The 300's varied through the years but were the same frame as the 400's. For the most part the tires on the 300's were smaller and some had the 4 pinion transmission with 1" axles and overall had fewer bells and whistles. In the later years towards the end the 300 series was all they offered in the traditional Wheel Horse and had the larger wheels and 8 pinion transmission. As always with these tractors a few exceptions were made.

3 pointsGentlemen...if I may, and I am not speaking for all veterans, but I am speaking as a veteran. I am also speaking as a union steward for more the 25 years...(IBEW). I will fight to the death, and I have, for anyone to be able to express their opinion. Most of us do not have a platform that we can use to protest social injustice, some do...ie, athletes, political people, film stars, etc. I have also fought for the right for any of you to disagree with what happens out there. It is that simple and it is that complex. I would take a knee to some of the social injustices that are going on...like separating kids from their parents. This is not the United States of America that we all know and love. What would you do, if some of the things that are going on upset you that much?? I would hope that you would find a way to protest. That's what makes us different from any other country...we can do that. If you do not like what is going on, that is fine also...but just know that veterans made it possible for you to express your opinion. You are entitled to your opinion...you are also entitled to keep it to yourself. Social injustice is real...I thank the people that are able to say something about it...even if it means their careers. You know how long I have been wanting to say that...1974

2 pointsWhat Ed said . Three essentials a tin knocker always has around (can’t tell you how many times I’ve done this just to keep working) 1- duct/electrical tape 2- napkins/paper towels 3- superglue Now for the next question are you right or left handed....wait does it really matter your the boss and we can see you can still work your phone to post ! Seriously take care Jim.

2 pointsOuch! Glad that didn’t end up in a trip to the ER and staples or stitches. This one falls into the category, “It seemed like a good idea at the time!” Live and learn.

2 pointsAs you can see in the pictures above this one ... Trina spent some time putting the first coat of white on a few of the engine tins and other pieces. The inside of this flywheel cover is flat black instead of continuing the Navajo White theme on the inside of the cover because that way the unpainted flywheel will blend in better.
