8 pointsI had plans to at least attend today, but Mrs. Sailor and I just returned yesterday afternoon from a 12 day Baltic Sea cruise. My body is still complaining of the 7 hour jet lag! I am up at 3 am because it thinks that it is 10 am!!! Thankfully it was uneventful as we spent two days in St. Petersburg, Russia right after the political demonstrations, and then there was the US surveilance plane/Russian fighter encounter over the Baltic right after we had left the area. Tallin, Estonia just returned

6 pointsFinally found some time the last two weekends to reinstall the K301s I had rebuilt a few months ago. Everything hooked back up and tonight after work she went on her "maiden voyage" mowing lawn. Did a great job.
-
6 pointsAs far as number , no , not a lot of them left around . It was a one-year model of course and in '67 it was pretty much a top of the line tractor . In my opinion , one of the best looking Wheel Horse ever made and very simple , yet extremely capable of doing any task . This one I had picked up to have two 1277's , but ended up selling it since I really had no use for it at the time - never should have done that but at least it went to a member here . This is my first one and will stay no matter what - this tractor has done so much work around here and around town I could never part with it . I need to fix the frame and give the old girl a new paint job and address a few things , but it still fires and runs well although the old K really needs to be rebuilt . Sarge

5 pointsStevebo is awesome but he has not yet paid the tab so it's first indication that steve on a stick is not actually steve. Not to mention some very direct feedback from Chris who is the actual puppet master.
-
5 pointsI'll speak for myself and Dino...we are bumming. @c-series don yes take pride of your offspring..before you know it you will be an empty nester like many of us and then what?!
-
5 pointsFor sure it's not the same without you here Steve . Heck this is my only second show and definitely not my last . Everyone here is so willing to help each other out . It really is like one big family . For example when returned to the show after dinner @stevebo came up to me just to say hi , next thing I know he's wet sanding and buffing my 1057 and a huge !!!

4 pointsJust sitting here earlier this evening skimming CL for a steal and found and bought this Brinley "potato" plow (as he had it listed) about 15 minutes from me for $50, he also had a single gang disc same price but I have 2 already do passed on that and the plow I scored last year ($75) was in really rough shape so off to see and bring it home, everything seems nice and tight on it only thing I see is a bit of rust on the moldboard and the very tip is slightly tweaked, you guys think I did good on this one? ,Jeff.

4 pointsWell here it is all painted. now have to wait a few days to apply decals. i am going to let it sit in the sun tomorrow. This dumpcart is not perfect. it was pitted beyond beleif. i filled has much of the pits in i could with jb weld. Its not a show peice but looks alot better than before. I wanted to preserve it for years to come. its even getting different tires on it. that are in better condition.
-
4 pointsThanks so much for all the pictures, they take some of the sting out of not being there.
-
4 pointsAnd Steve those are horns I gave you . Not playboy bunny's ears as others are probably thinking.
-

4 pointsBeen super busy, so no time for posting. Finished for the most part at 2am this morning, and left for the show around noon. Made it to the fairgrounds around 7pm. Have an issue with either the new carb or governor adjustment as it is not making full power. So if anyone has an idea as to what's up with it, and up are around the tent area in the morning, stop by. Am in a long black and red tent, first one on right as you come down the road to the camping area. Black Jeep Commander next to the tent. Have to clean it up from the rain and put the decals on in the morning as well.

4 pointsI wonder if Mike Martino is there? That Straight from the Horse's Mouth tractor is slick!
-

3 pointsHad an hour with the C121 today, dropped the gearbox oil which was old contaminated and cream like flushed out and replaced. Engine oil very low and old so changed that.. brakes are not good so adjusted but better to change the lining I think so will have to source one, new air filter and seal reqired, tires are shot so need 4 new ones currently Carlisle on all four corners at the moment, engine mountings are shot the list goes on but a good wheel horse in the main ... made to last. Still not had chance to get it running but will shortly as I've decided to run it before a rebuild... the wife named it "Rocky" today as she said he looks a tough cookie who will make a come back.... so "Rocky" it is...😉

3 pointsJust about have tears in my eyes ... really enjoyed last year, but just got a defibrillator installed, and DR said no driving, so here I sit!! ANOTHER example of the unbelievable Wheel Horse family, ... I found a D180 that I would like to use for the V8 project, ... AZ Tractor has it, he is bringing it to the show, and JPWH is going to haul it to his place in GA for me!! Hopefully I can get cleared to drive first of the week so I can go up and get it!! Again, fantastic people!!!

3 pointsMartino is there! Minus about 75 pounds! So pay close attention as you may not recognize him. Btw. Jason offered to assist me with detailing a special RJ35. In the pic, Hadin is detailing the RJ35, that Martino brought to first show. Thanks Jason. That's my buddy sitting in pic hat has opted out of the wheel horse phenomenon for the moment. But his favorite model is GT14.

2 pointsDeck mounted correctly and LOCK IN ? ? ? If one side isn't locked in, it will run lower than the other. That is, the deck is TILTED .... Make sure it is locked in place ON BOTH SIDES. Here is a pic or two.... My only other idea is that MAYBE the outside spindle itself is tilted, causing it to cut lower than the other(s).
-
2 pointsThanks 953 really fine pictures, I'm missing the show all ready.
-
2 pointsI too, am sitting this year out. But I will miss being at the show. What a wonderful time I've had the last couple of years I did go. I hope all who attend have a great time and good weather and take a bunch of pictures so the rest of us sitting at home can feel like part of the show.
-
2 pointsI can't go either. The past 2 years I had one graduate each year. This year I am building a new home, the boss tells me we better move in before winter. On the bright side, there's always next year........... Yes, have fun fellas. Pictures will have to hold me over. Glenn

2 pointsDave, I am also very sorry and saddened to hear what you are going through. The sharing of all of your knowledge has helped to make Red Square the place it is. I do hope you can still hang in there with us. My prayers with you and yours.
