A few pictures from the Dodge County Antique Power Club show held in Burnett Corners WI, first full weekend in Aug every year. Allis Chalmers and Oil Pull were the feature this year. The feature area was fairly large, hard to get it all in a pic. what you see is about 1/3 of them. Had never see an AC 190 Beachmaster before. These were marketed as an industrial tractor for parks and beaches This tractor would appeal to Ford fans and Hot Rodders. Nothing like a big block and a blower. A real good turn out for the Economy reunion. Kind of a crappy Bolens, (pun intended) Truthfully it was a neat ride sure got smiles from a lot of people. Wheel Horse's were well represented, among many other brands. Can't believe I walked past this one twice before I saw the Horse underneath. My big toys There were also steam tractors, a steam generator, saw mills, a pull (got a third w/ my 30), threshing, rock crushing, and many other demonstrations. Hope you like the partial tour.

I've been eating my home grown tomatoes for about 3 weeks now. I always plant Early Girls, add a little Miracle Grow to the soil and have BLT's by the third week of July. As a matter of fact, we ate BLT sandwiches for supper tonight.

Well there she is. First a bath and then a fluid and filter change.

I finally had my first tomato on my deck turn red. I have been watching it and waiting. It looked great after work today. It disappeared in the last hour. My stupid dog stole it. She picks raspberries too.

Tie rod ball end is worn out, probably need a new one, go to the vendors section. wheelhorseman1000 makes replacements.

Here in central Maryland, I live on a wooded lot, so there is no room for a real garden. We have an area where we took down several 90 ft. oak trees to get some sunlight. That area gets sun for about 8 hours. So, the plants grow very tall trying to compete with the trees to get more sunlight. Right now, they are about 8 feet tall.

Glad to see you brought your sweet hot rod! Also glad the Toilet Tractor was equipped with a holding tank.

Had the 161 out cleaning up around the place and then jumped on the 701 and went for a trip around the neighborhood. My wife just shakes her head. Someday I hope she understands.

I always forget that NAPA has common bearings. Don't have to wait for the mailman to bring them and it seems theres always a NAPA on the way to somewhere! The last piece of the puzzle... since the steering wheel was froze on tight Denny had taken this apart and removed the column when I picked it up so ithe tractor would clear the cap in the truck. I attempted to remove the wheel but feared I would damage it so just refiinshed the wheel & left as is. Since the this was the first to come apart it was the last to go back together! The first ride!

Dan...Thanks for taking us along.....looks nice a decent showing of Horses... The toilet tractor was at the Portage show last year and got to talk to the owner quite abit & very intersting how he did the drive train. Your right Dick the white walls are the best of show!

Anytime you sell things as a package the purchaser almost always gets a better deal. Ya gotta remember, your Mom wanted that stuff gone and selling it as a lot was the easiest route for her. I'd say all things considered she did okay...

And so goes the old saying....life as a windshield..... Sometimes we are the bug and sometimes we are a deer.... was that a jd joke ,thing ?? lol

know the filling! One year the deer ate all of mine, did not get one. I installed and electric fence. My wife says; between the fence, special tractor with tiller, (wheel horse of course), fertilizer, lime etc. etc. etc. I could import tomatoes from Italy cheaper!

Any time I get the chance to involve one of the grand kids in a project using tools I jump on it. Today the oldest was working with me and since she already knows and enjoys using power tools while working on my houses decided time she learned how to do a little wrenching. Was a simple enough job was only replacing the shifter boot. that went so good taught her how to drive roll pins while replacing tensioner knob on the mule drive.

Not a lot to post tonight, as I'm swamped at work and I'm not getting home at my usual time. The only thing to show for tonight is the seat pan being first coated with white. The only other thing I did tonight was wire brush the top of the motor and clean the little bit of carbon off the top of the piston and valves. I also have the head soaking in some industrial strength aluminum cleaner, however it will have to be removed in about 15 minutes, as this stuff will eventually eat the aluminum if you're not careful. Good stuff, but very potent. I didn't take any pictures of the motor work as there wasn't enough progress to really be worth while showing. Sorry Guys!

Got the fenders welded and ground up today. Think I have the cage mount figured out. Now have to get an engine before I can fix the hood height.

I have heard of those, they are supposed to be huge. Maybe my dog would just eat one and get filled up!!!

Was painting the gas tank and engine for my daughters pink suburban and she decided she wanted to work on her other tractor today also.

My father-in-law always told everybody he had a 20hp Kohler in his 1991 520H. He had the onan of course and I would correct him time after time...... Finally got tired of it and stopped correcting him. Ok, Bill, it's whatever you want it to be..............

It's interesting to hear some of you in the NE are just getting you first tomato now. Ours in Central Texas are about burned up and done. Some years I nurse them through the heat and get a few more in the fall, but not this year. We had beautiful plants, lots of blooms but very few tomatoes the past 2 years.Two years ago the elderly neighbor that raised bees moved away. This year I only saw a bee once in my garden .......I suspect lots of blooms but no bees equals no tomatoes, or cucumbers or green beans. my root crops did well!

Once the bulk of the paint was stripped off I used a stripper wheel on my 4" grinder to clean up the rest. Now it was time to lay down some primer. I chose Rustoleum products for the project and I was pleased with the results. After the appropriate drying time, I was ready to spray the Satin Black... It is always fun to get done with the paint because assembly is next!

My Beagle used to steal them. She would come out from the garden with a green face. Then we had a Lab that stole the Zuchinni!

NAPA filter number is 1410. Since it has been setting that long I think new belts and a fuel line and filter would be a good idea too.

The power of prayer is awesome! They had Dad all prepped for surgery this morning and the dr came in. He said the final blood tests showed no infection and the fluid drawn now shows no bacteria. Dad is coming home with a pic line for antibiotics as a precaution. So glad he is going to get to go home later! Just wanted to share the good news with everyone!!

In addition to lots of photos, keep the sub assemblies separated and all the hardware associated with the subs in baggies. It used to be that the manuals had all the hardware listed by size/description. Now, I think they are all toro P/N's. However, I happen to have the IPL manual for the C141 so if you want a copy of the original circa 1978-79, pm me.

Already acquired it! It is the real deal, and im happy to own it. I'd just prefer to own it sitting in a short frame lol

See I learn all the time at red square! I never used synthetic in my hydro transmissions, just standard 10w-30. Will try synthetic in my 1076 next time!

Put a disconnect in the new ground wire. Makes removing the hood easier/faster.

My 3 520H's, a 520HC, a 210-5, and a 111-6 were very dusty so they all got a wash. They will dry in the sun then get put away for a while as my lawn is quite dry and not growing much right now.

is this gear supposed to be welded ?? It kinda not the best weld I have ever seen? And there was a bearing at the top of this gear , u can see the piece that held the balls at the top of the shaft i also got the shift forks moving good without taking them out, it i didnt have the right punch for that pin and with the balls stuck i couldnt get that shaft out anyway till i free'd them, but now that they are moving im not gonna bother...may regret it.. and these are some pics after 13hr 6/1 phos dip. Blue gray coating is the rust resistant coating left after the dip, and that wipes right off.. shiny metal pics is from running the parts under a brush
