I just got my new Wheel Horse Shop Sign tonight from a shipper I used on Uship.com.The sign came from New Jersey. The sign seems like it's in excellent shape and comes with the letters numbers kit. I also think the sign wasn't ever hung in a dealership because I don't even see and brackets for the hangers. The seller claims he found it in attic from a house he bought years ago. Also that was my first experience with uship.com and it work out great and the price was great too!! By the time I spent gas, food and my time it getting the sign it was a whole alot cheaper going through this shipper out of vermont that I used. Otherwise this sign is a keeper and going to look sweet hanging up!!

I've always wanted a pressure washer and figured that the attachamatic on the front of the horse would make a great mounting point. I've been collecting parts for a few weeks and finally got a chance to put this together. Here is a shot of the mock-up with the pulley attached to the pump. The pump is 4.0 gpm at 4000 psi and the pulley size puts the engine rpms at 3000. I had an old mule drive that I had used the shaft and pulleys for another project. I added a few pieces of tubing and angle to mount the pump and a fancy "patented" tensioner. I removed the original tensioning screw and added a hook in the rear that locks the whole assembly rigidly to the attachamatic. It works. Now its all disassembled for some paint. It takes about 3 min to install and put on the belt.

Karl, do you remember how much of that 10GB was used last year? Found the prepaid Verizon Jetpack for the 10GB of data Is it possible to compress the video? I know FILES can be compressed but not sure about doing it to stream it live. It just seems like 10GB will get used up quick. Maybe we can spot that crazy C195 and stop it before something happens again. Big Show security!

I'll bring the wagon if needed??? As long as there are No C195's driving around with duals on it!!!

just got this to replace my gt 1142. the gt has served me very very well for the last two years but i wanted to upgrade. so ive been looking for awhile and came across this one only about 20 minutes away! so i went ahead and got her. now it didnt come with any attachments but i am going to use the deck off the gt. also, i put my plow, chains and weights on it for this winter. i think it will do very well and hopefully earn its keep. now my future plans are to get new front tires for it, a 48 inch mower deck and maybe some paint and new seat. ive already fallen in love with this thing. just hope it can be as good if not better than the gt. anybody that has a mower deck for sale, please let me know. id like to find one soon so i can have it all ready for this spring. let me now what ya'll think!

When I heard that Jake was in the issue I called the publisher and ordered a copy. I also got a copy with the Harrison Elementary Garden Tractor Club article in it. Outstanding articles Jake and Scott.

Hi Wheelers, might someone know the stated factory weight capacity (Max Load) for the GT14 rear hydraulic three point hitch is? Thank you
  23. 1 point
I don't know if there is one published, but my initial thought (as with most things wheel horse) is "till you lift up the front end". I.E. You will out weight the tractor before you break it.

I 'd agree with not ripping it all apart for a few puffs of smoke. Agreed that it might not have been broken in properly, but it still could be done. These motors take a pretty good beating. IMHO, it's only work ripping apart if it doesn't work, or it smokes like crazy. By the looks of the pics, the vertical scoring doesn't appear to be any deeper than the hone that you can still see. Good luck.

The fighting illini went down the tubes last night with a Big "thud". I bet Duke got a Big kick out of that!!! Michigan team was at home laughing there A$$ off. Tell me my team stinks is not good, at least they've got a shot of doing the dance which is more than I can say for other teams. Now would we like to discuss the fact of women wishing???? Looks like your wishing went right along with the fighting illini straight down the tubes. Whoopps, almost forgot just seen where there are a player or two signing with the Hawkeyes!!! Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!! Lol :laughing-rofl: :ychain:

Before I knew I actually had a heart issue for sure I ordered a pizza to my room at 10:30 at night! We had a big power outage on a weekend night a few years back at work. A few of us were there keeping watch of the gen sets and making sure everything stayed on line. We were outside waiting for the line crew and one guy says "who wants a pizza?" He called around until he found a place that had electricity. when they asked where to deliver it to he says "The stop light in front of the Hospital" They thought it was a prank but 20 min later we had a pizza!

I think the answer depends on what you use the machine to do. The tri ribs cited by Pete are great (as I have read) in the snow (and maybe dirt) to keep the tractor going where you want it. They may not be so good as a turf tire. If all you do is cut grass, a 2 ply turf tire will do fine. If you put a loader on it, you will need a 4 or 6 ply front tires. If you snow plow or snow blow, the tri tibs or Vredestein multi rib tires are a good choice. No one tire fits all chores, that is why many of us have more than one tractor. Just my opinion as well.

I have a bunch of these Bosch digital security cameras. If used with a converter like this $21 thingy on ebay and a computer, we could set up a few cameras. Just not sure how to live stream it. Maybe set them up high on the infield pole showing 4 directions??? Can't remember if there is a power outlet at the bottom of the pole or not but I think there is. They would be limited to where they can be set up because they need video cable and power wire which I can supply. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Channel-BNC-To-USB-Converter-DVR-Adapter-Camera-Quad-Video-Switcher-/191162841563?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c823179db I can send the cameras and needed cables to you so you can test it out if you want to try it. I'll even order the converter too since it's only $21 Just throwing this out as an option

Your guys are a riot. Stealing my motto, making me laugh. I cannot compliment you more than that. The Docs have been in and my chemo is done for now. The numbers are dropping as expected and we will be entering the waiting game for my cells to begin recovering. Good news is I am off the fluids and free from Agnes, my keeper of the bags and constant dance partner. However my hot legs seem to have gotten a bit spindly and it feels odd to walk without holding onto something. And I can't even have a red bull, so no wings either. May be a rebooting of the body puter in order. LOL,!! Happy St. Party's Day to you all. :)

Keep an eye on it, those dang keys/hubs are notorious for once getting loose coming loose again. At one point WH started putting 2 set screws on the hubs and many of us have had to add the 2nd set screw. In fact I am presently running 2 axles that I have 3 of them on after 2 just wouldnt stay tight! Ive got a couple extra hubs standing by in case the 3 screw trick doesnt work --- but, so far so good...

Squint, love the offensive material, wouldn't change a thing. Steve, it doesn't hurt to launch and you guys sure are bringing the goods. Laughed till I cried. A word of caution for you, if I get my hands on that rope I will drag Dukes snow chucked right over you for posting that picture. LOL,!!! Redsquare is the best and it's all of you that make it so. Thanks my friends.

There it is! Chances are its your LEFT hub has likely broken or lost a key. The hubs should be flush with the axle (as looking from the outside of the wheel), and my bet is your axle is sticking out pretty far on the left side, which means the setscrew(s) are loose and likely broke something. There is a small chance the axles or hubs are pretty damaged from excess movement, if its been that way for a while, but no telling until you pull the hub off. If the parts are in decent shape then it should be a pretty easy fix. Take that side off and post pics.

The high low shifter seems to be fine. Looking from the rear the right side axle extends about an inch and a half from the housing. There is no axle showing on the left. When shut off and placed in first gear high I can push the tractor with ease.

Pretty decent 551. No motor. Shifts nice, has cast foot rests, mint steering wheel. All-in-all a nice little rig. Not sure if its a keeper or what I'm going to do with it. I like the fact that it has the provision for the battery, so the sky is pretty much the limit as far as engine choices.

In that picture...it looks like Squonk has 2 heads...and 1 is a moderator...does that make since (cents, sents). I bet Scott stays away from Squonk at the show this year...he won't want his head on Mike's shoulder again. Dang Jim...I hope is doesn't hurt to laugh Mate. On the side...I just went for my semi-annual physical this morning. Again, the Doc said..."I don't know what you are doing, but I would not change a thing"...(he has said this to me for a couple of years now). I really want a prescription for what he is smoking...I would share some of it with Brrly1 and then we would go up to the hospital and share it with Jim. Hang in there my friend. You and I will be pulling Horsefixer's tractor with a rope again this summer. Sorry, I submitted this picture to an area "dating" web site, and the phone has not stopped ringing. Most of them are saying that they think the tractor is sexy, but it is that guy leaning on it that makes it so. A lot of "nice legs" comments also. Chris and My prayers Jim...love you man.

Thanks again everyone for your prayers and good wishes. You touch my heart daily. Duke I'll make this easy for us, Buckeyes all the way and I already know your prediction too. But we'll mix it up in the pick thread just for fun. Prayers to you and MJ my friend, and to all of Redsquare that have been so kind to me. I am truly humbled.

I buy based on what I like to own and drive. I have a C-175 Twin Automatic black hood with a Series II replacement engine. I would not trade it for love or money.

Its tough to make out from the inside but I can tell you it was an absolutely miserable 11 1/2 hour ride to get this tractor. Probably the single stupidest thing I've ever done to get a tractor. I took the 551 out and brought this back... Its home now. Rebuilt the carb this week, went to move it tonight after work and the drive belt broke so I'm running to my favorite dealer tomorrow for a new drive belt...at least I hope...Then its going to get the 56" plow I got at the end of last year for $73.50 put on it and get some snow cleared tomorrow and Sunday while its warmer
