11 pointsI think I may have a problem. It's gonna take till this weekend to get it all figured out but here's a start. Sandra is gonna try to get all the numbers run today and a list of at least the tractors, they are scattered everywhere. The first 2 pics are what was in the room at his place. There were more parts outside the room and more stuff at another location. We haven't unloaded 3 of the truck beds and cabs full of parts yet so I have no idea what's there either. The only thing we did get unloaded from the trucks and in the shop was the 4 wheel wagon.

7 pointsI finished this tricycle just in time for Christmas, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. It belongs to a friend's mother, she rode it as a little girl. I'm sure she'll be surprised when she see's it.... Many thanks to "Vinylguy" Terry Dennis for making the custom decal and to Glen Pettit for making the custom hand grips in the color and size I needed. Both the decal and the grips made this project turn out so much nicer than it would have without those finishing touches and both of these guys did this free of charge. I can't thank them enough!

7 pointsI don't know what to say. I thought Rickv1957 had a problem, but Geno... Anyway, I found the new name for your business -

5 pointsDoes anyone else have a back hoe option along with a loader? Mine is on a D180. I bought from up state New York. The seller says he bought at a village auction and this was a grave digger for the local cemetary. I am interested if anyone else has this option. The back hoe works great. We have used all summer digging water lines, elecltric line, random hole to simply bury stuff as well. This winter I plan to repaint the entire unit and add power steering. Oh, the back hoe can dig up to 6' deep, the bucket is 16" wide.

5 pointsGeno, I think you are a nice guy but I'm not letting you anywhere near my Wheel Horses (especially if you have a truck and trailer with you)LOL

5 pointsThe gifts are all wrapped and the stockings are hung. The tables are set. The trees are all trimmed. The TOYS for TOTS are all delivered. Time before the GANG arrives to kick back and enjoy sweet scent of rustoleum regal red and chestnuts roasting by the open fire. And to wish all a Joyous Christmas celebration and a Happy Healthy 2015.

4 pointsDuring my recent project I decided to build an engine stand for Kohler single cylinder rebuilds, this is what I came up with.
-
4 pointsAfter wrestling a few transmissions I decided there has got to be a better way instead of trying to balance on wooden blocks. So here it is, just a standard wire milk crate, cut out a few of the wires and the trans sits in it stable and easy to work on. Thanks for looking.

4 pointsI quickly used some rubbing compound with a damp rag, then gave it a quick coat of wax to see how the paint looks. It cleaned up pretty good. It smokes when you first start it but clears out after a little while. I think i'm gonna give the engine and quick rebuild. The transmission feels really strong. I'll see if I can con Ken into giving me a hand and see if we can clean up the paint a little more. Someone either broke or modified the brake pedal so i'll replace that. Otherwise that's it. I'll use it for plow duty when there's not enough snow for blower.

3 pointsBeen a while since my last thread. The snowcaster is restored and rubber paddles have been added to the auger, now we just need some more snow to try it out! Also on my Maine snow team is my 1977 Wheel Horse C-120 8 speed with a Ark Loader 508-QM. It works great for scraping ice and moving heavy wet snow.

3 pointsJust thought I would throw some pics of mine in the mix. I bought this 1958 RJ-58 from jdogshorseranch about three years ago. I had to buy a seat, one front wheel (the one with the tire on it) and two new front tires but otherwise she still looks much like this today as when I bought it. I have not yet decided if I want to do any kind of restore on it but for now she's keeping the old rusty coat look. I have posted pics and stories elsewhere on RedSquare about the first Wheel Horse rusty clunker that I ever acquired just 3-1/2 years ago... my dad's original 1962 model 552. It was a basket case tractor with just about everything rust locked on her. It took me three years to get from this rusty clunker... to a beautifully restored 1962 model 502... I do know one thing for sure, though. Whether your rusty old Wheel Horse tractor clunkers are preserved as original workers or restored to having them given a new glorious second life, you can be sure there are proud owners somewhere near them.

3 pointsAS usual Chuck, you did it again. My hat is off to you and the continued service you provide to our members.

2 pointsHeard this interesting bit on NPR the other day, of how the Santa tracker @ NORAD was started. Be sure you click the listen bar beneath Col. Shoup's picture to hear the story. http://www.npr.org/series/4516989/storycorps I also see Google has a Santa tracker set up this year also... starts off in Santa's village('cuz...he hasn't left yet)... kinda works like an advent calender...just scroll the screen left and right, click on individual points of the timeline to see daily preparations, leading up to the big event. Seems great for the kids...enjoy. https://santatracker.google.com/?hl=en#village The "official" NORAD Santa tracker. http://www.noradsanta.org/

2 pointsCas (formariz) commissioned me to build a pair of Clinton 1200 series engines for him. Tonight I finished them and they both started on the first pull! Ran them simultaneously for about 20 minutes! Engines run really well. They had the intake and exhaust ports enlarged and polished and have a new crank, crank bearings, rod, piston, rings, valves, gaskets, seals, silicone plug wire, etc etc etc. They are quite powerful and could probably hold their own against any 6-7hp Kohler! Enjoy Charlie

2 pointsFirst tractor is a 1045....only 1100 or so made, was the transition tractor between round hood and square hood. The grader blade fits the 60's tractors, I believe the model number is mb405 but I'm probably wrong. Cultivator I don't know much about. And the snow blade would be for a vertical shaft but I"m not sure what model. I had one earlier this year and ended up just selling it so someone could use the front half for another blade as a lot of them didn't see much use. Jake

2 pointsWe have 16 of them so far with model and matching engine numbers that we are sure of what they are, more to come Friday when Sandra comes back to work. 1964 1054 1968 Charger 12 Auto 1968 Raider 12 8sp 1968 Raider 9 8sp 1968 Commando 8 4sp 1969 Work Horse 700 4sp (2) 1969 Charger 12 Auto 1970 Commando V8 3sp 1971 Raider 10 6sp 1973 16 Auto (2) 1973 Raider 12 8sp - I thought all the 73's were no names, or the master model list is wrong again? 1975 C-100 8sp 1977 b-100 8sp 1977 C-120 Auto

2 pointsSo, what are you thinking about for a sign out in front of this fine new establishment? I'm thinking something big like a Wheel Horse mounted on a pole like 30 feet up???
-
2 pointsVery nice haul Geno. You are so right, the adventure is half the fun and you are certainly attaining quite the inventory! I like your style, go BIG or go home... I'm gonna have to start calling you Mr Excitement...

2 pointsOKey dokey. All future repair to this board will be done with my first meter ... a Simpson 260 and a period appropriate Power Designs TP343A power supply cranking out vintage electrons to power the circuit board. I'll even break out my vintage 1980's roll of Kester 44 solder especially for you!

2 pointsSame to you Karl! We are having our Christmas today (24th). My group has to work tomorrow and seeing as my kids are older I gave up my slot to be off to one of our guys with little ones. Guys did it for me when mine were young so I'm paying it forward.
-
2 pointsOK, it's not a show horse but like a lot of us, looks a little better cleaned up. She is running and rolling but I am still missing a plate that goes underneath the left foot rest to raise the blade. Does anyone have a spare one (Plow model is 79252) I think the Actual part number for the plate 795510-01? Any ideas what it may be worth?
-
2 pointsI've got it! Geno's Be Right, Bread, Milk, Mini Mart, All Nite DVD Rental, Wheel Horse Emporium, Buffet! May have to recruit Blue for the buffet part though!
