8 pointsBob Maynard took this picture for me of yours truly with the boys. I can see this will be a yearly event and if you ever get the chance to go do it. You will have a great time. Thanks Bob. He was the first member I met. Glenn

3 pointsPlease enjoy these pictures! We took them in random order, and all over the place, please don't be offended if we missed your site or tractors or anything, I just tried to get a bunch of pictures of different tractors, and a lot of the show! Oh, and if you see yourself or anyone you'd like to point out, please go ahead and do so! Enjoy! Click on the pictures to enlarge them!

2 pointsGreat memories!! Got to meet Neil and his wife, Jeff(Hodge71), Sparky, Karl and a lot more then I can remember. Many thanks to Dave (Fun Engineer) for picking up that Workhorse hood for me and bringing it all the way from Michigan! Seeing Bob Maynards surprised expression when Craig (AMC Rules) handed him the "Boo Boo" Helmet. Craig's expression of relief, to finally get rid of it, was also evident. (hope someone got a picture!) Thanks to Terry (Vinyl Guy) for making the long trip w/o Lola and Buddy, hearts and prayers to Lola's family. Thanks to WHCC and the volunteers who make it all happen! :text-thankyoublue: :wh:

2 pointsI recently talked to an old farmer who said he had 3 old WH's in his barn and they hadn't been ran in many years. I told him I would like to buy them and he said to come take a look. I went over a couple times and he wasn't around. Finally he called me and said to come on over. He had 2 RJ58's with mower decks and a 1960 Model 550 with a snow plow mounted on it. I made him an offer on all 3 but he said he wanted to keep the one with the snow blade. Bummer because it had the original 5.5 hp. Tecumseh engine on it!! It was pretty rusted though. So he told me what he wanted for the 2 old RJ's and I bought them right away. I haven't gave up on the 550 yet though. I drug the 2 old girls home and started to clean up the one with the mower deck mounted on it. It ain't too bad but it has a new fangled 3 hp. Briggs motor on it. It turns over nicely with good compression. I haven't got around to taking it apart yet but it should run. The other RJ, he must have painted it orange a long time ago. It is in rougher shaper but the 5 hp Briggs motor is in good shape and may run with some effort. It has the early style of General front tires on it which are rare and used on the 1956 RJ's and some 1957's too. Never seen them on a RJ58 so maybe it is an earlier production RJ58. Here's a couple pics of them.

1 pointMorning all, if you have been following my Project Zero-ish turn build then you will of read there has been a big change of plan for it... Well, here's the big change of plan Here's a clue.. Here's a bigger clue.. This should be a big enough clue for you Yep that's right this Raider 10 is being reborn as a fun machine. Powered by this water cooled, 48hp V twin and 5 speed box Yesterday was a long but good day as the Honda was slowly taken apart. Until the engine came out.. "Walking" it up this plank to get it onto the bench was fun! A good looking engine.. But... Will it fit in the Raider without having to chop bits of the hood out or stretch the chassis???

1 pointJust finished this up lastnight for the tiller, push mower, and trimmer. And a fresh shot of my old man. Pull start is removed because I need to replace the 3 prongs that engage the flywheel. Been rope starting in the mean time.

1 pointYesterday I attended the WHCC Show for the first time. I met a handful of RS members which was really nice. I also set up and sold a number of my bound repro manuals. I had a great time and it will not be my last I spent my earnings on a couple of items, one of which is a large 2-wheeled Wheel Horse cart. I have never seen on like this. It is larger than any WH cart I have seen except the 4-wheeled carts. I took some pictures, but have not yet measured it. The stickers look to be original but there are no model or ID numbers on it. WHcart2 by rolf.taylor, on Flickr Now that I have made the post, I'll go and look through the photo archives and If I find anything I'll add it to the thread!

1 pointHere's a little video from Saturdays very first ever WHCC crackle fest... those little red 's sure can make some noise...hit 126 on Wild Bills decimal meter. Sounded pretty good for the first time ever... so, crank up your volume, and don't forget to cover your ears.

1 pointGreat show today. More red tractors than ever. Beautiful weather. I sold two tractors, found most of the parts I needed, and met some nice people. Life is good. Wish I could have stayed for Saturday, but it's my wife's birthday, and I have to stay on her good side so that I can buy more tractors. Going to look at a C-195 Sunday afternoon. Jim

1 pointSure Digger, it would be a direct replacement. If I wouldn't have found that one first I would have tried to find a 13" from a B/C Series. They had both the 13" and 15" those years.
-
1 pointOk, time to liven things up around here. I found the pic from page 73 of "The Book" and posted it somewhere on the site. The first one to find it will be the first one to get to look at it, her, it. Yea, it. Wow, I can't believe nobody has found it yet.

1 pointWell I took another shot of the tractor along with something I picked up a few years back. I had to move some stuff around in the shed , I also pulled the 702 out to get it down off of the shelf. Have a Great day, Happy Fathers day to all Fathers! John

1 pointYou guys can probably tell that the tractor has been painted by the photos in the gallery. I am going to throw a couple more out there for now and see maybe we can get some good weather and maybe a video who knows. As this process has been moving forward the words that I look for are like "awesome". How else would you desdribe it?
