Last night was the Brewster High School Varsity Football / Cheer dinner, it was also the Brewster High School Salute to Veterans. As mentioned earlier, my girls chose to perform at the Veterans Celebration over the dinner. This isn't some back woods event, but a full production to honor our veterans past and present. The evening is orchestrated with music from our award winning marching band (recently played in Dublin Ireland St. Patricks day 2013) and an ensemble of the 4 choirs at BHS. There are speeches by NY State Senator Greg Ball (Air Force Veteran) as well as many others including a Gold Star Mom who's strength is amazing. I uploaded to YouTube the finale to the show, where the BHS band and entire Chorus salutes all branches of the military. I stood during the Air Force section in honor of my father.

I have been waiting almost 2 years to finally install this dealer sign the I got from a friend and member here (Riley08). This started as a double sided, 4x6 ft sign but it would have been much to big and by cutting it down I can use the opposite side elsewhere. I mounted it on the old barn beam and used the brackets that it was hung with to support the barn beam. This weekend we are going to get everything wired up and hopefully figure out a way to get this sign to light up....

I definitely like the separate thread for the bowl picks. Like RMC said, we might get more players in a new thread. Not everyone is a Big 10 fan. There's the SEC and many other conferences in play in the bowl games. It makes it interesting to expand your horizons and pick from teams you know even less about than the B1G teams.

No not a tractor but I wish it was. But a nice chunk of V-ribbed rubber matting. 27 feet had to be replaced at work for safety reasons. Some scuffs and a bubble was all that was wrong. I cut a nice chunk to bring home for doing step pads. Should last a long time. We get it from Mac Carr in Bulk.

Here's what I got done today. I block sanded my dash tower starting with 320 and then 400 to make sure I got AAAAL the orange peel and gloss leaving it nice and matte for my red as for the rest of the parts here, I scotch padded them with red then with the super fine grey one, INCLUDING In between gear teeth and motor fins. Also before I primed them? I used a white rag and wiped them down with mineral spirits until the rag came out clean. It may be a little much but I want to make sure I protect my tractor for years to come plus make it look nice!

Pretty cool Karl, and your right, that's a no B.S. production. I would be proud if my boys decided the same thing. Was thinking you needed to crack the woman in front of you in the skull with your camera, she was blocking my view! LOL

I joined on Saturday, Sept 25, 2010 while looking for a suburban project to purchase. The following weekend I had a suburban and had already met and been to two members homes in 2 different states. I've visited pretty much daily since then and really appreciate all the folks who contribute and maintain this community for us all.

Happy birthday RS! And thanks to all the great folks who make it happen and keep us all coming back... sometimes 30 times a day. The earliest snapshot of the forum out on the Wayback machine (http://archive.org/web/) is in July of 2008. What a change from then to now. July 2008 Today

I find this to be funny... 1) there must be a "story"... and 2) the "story" has some facet that's voodoo in nature... Its a frigg'n tractor... not some military secret uncovered by the Soviets

A buddy gave me a sorry looking C-121 with a mower, blower and a cab that hadn't run in 7 years. I googled WH to find parts and info and found RED Square, lurked a bit and joined. I replaced the condenser which made it run, and a spray bomb resto made my son want it. So he got his own Ranger and could leave mine alone!

My "Tow" lever is in the same position as the pic posted. Unfortunately my Electro 12 was cobbled together by PO (no lift kit, tractor wired w/ telephone-house wire) and I am in the process of re-wiring and cleaning "contacts/grounds". Secondly: The hydro filter: I went to TSC and their Fram filter book recommends their PH-16 for Electro 12 tranny filter. Someone on an another forumn told me NOT to use that filter because I would ruin the tranny! ...and they suggested TO USE OEM stock or NAPA 1610 Now I really confused!!! Turn the lever anyway....mine is backwards..... Napa 1410...like squonk said....

Jim the Napa # is 1410 not 1610 . Napa filters are Wix

I enjoy browsing the site several times a day. What a great resource for our little red tractors. Helps us keep them going with advice, how to's, parts sources. Can't beat it!

I've been searching for one of these for well over a year. Found it on CL by accident - the seller didn't know it was WH and was getting ready to give it to the junk man for scrap! I paid $45 and drove an hour to get it. It's in OK shape - rusted through in a few spots (not brittle though) on the rear rolled lip and the inside it pitted. I'm going to give it a quick resto and use it around the yard next year. CL pics:

I remember this one! Glad to see it back. I know that it's easier to find RS now because it's all over google and yahoo which made this very interesting back then. But the question is still, how did you find RS?

Morning all, I hope I am putting this in the right section here... Although it's to do with a Wheel Horse's, it's not a Wheel Horse build.. So why have I been so quiet? Well, the build itself hasn't been too taxing.. But the filming and editing has. With so much footage to sort out I knew that if I didn't edit every evening I would never get it done... So has the time spent been worth it?? I think so.. Hard work but very enjoyable Let me know what you think Guys 'n' Girls, because your views and opinions will help me decide in which direction to take my videos in the future...

It was a chap by the name of Jim, otherwise know as Mith who put me onto RedSquare. I was a member of another forum (no idea which one, I know it wasn't a WH forum) and so was Jim. One day he messaged me saying there was a great Wheel Horse forum that I should have a look at.. Soon after I became member no 110 and you have been stuck with me ever since

That is the bracket that a weight box mounts to. The box has a lip at the top that slips over the the top piece welded on the bracket ans one bolt holding the bottom. I had one when I lived in Indiana. The box is about 14"-16" cubed if I remember correctly. It might be used for a trac-vac as well but I'm not sure about that. The channel side bars bolting to the axle seem heavier than the one I had but, then again, my memory isn't............where's my coffee?? Found this with a Yahoo search. That's the box.

Dad, working in a W/H dealership, had always had W/H's and I have used them for years. About 2 years before Dad past away, I blew the head gasket on his Electro 12 mowing the yard and we decided to tear it down and rebuild it altogether. Well Dad got sicker and the Electro got shoved to the rear of the shop. I bought him a new Craftsman GT5000 that Mom could operate as well. After they both passed in Dec 2005, I decided to finish the Electro as a tribute to Dad. Well after sitting in the corner of the shop for 2 years, some parts were missing. Looking for parts on the internet produced this web sight. It did not have a name at that time but a few guys where discussing Wheel Horse tractors. Not being one to join forums, I bookmarked the sight and checked in from time to time. I watched and read more off than on for about 2 years before I decided to join in April of 2008. I still didn't post anything until August of 2008. Now I read and post just about every day!

Here is the prototype bracket for the HL-5 kits. One will only have to loosen the screws on the top of the tower and slip the bracket in. Bracket follows the angles of the the tower placing the switch knob at a convenient angle and placement and placing connections inside engine area. This type kit will be obviously for this type tractor. Kits to be used with mid-engine tractors will have different frame mounting method and a different switch mounting bracket.
