I finally decided to come on here and get my own account. I am Terry's better half of 18 yrs, we have had our sign business and have worked together the past 15 yrs. I am the gal who ships all your orders and keeps Terry in line lol or at least I try. After 6yrs of doing Wheel Horse graphics I thought I should introduce myself to all of you. It has been our pleasure to help so many dedicated Wheel Horse fans with their tractor graphics. Terry talks highly of all that he has come to know. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi guys- It seems I always bring my news here to this site-it's probably because you are all like extended family to me. Having said that-You may remember my son, Al Jr., has been working hard and making a name for himself at Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis. He holds the patent for the clutch assembly that allows the new F-35 Lightning Fighter to take off and land vertically-this plane can also fly in excess of 1200 mph & has the Radar signature the size of a small bird. WELL-all his hard, dedicated work has paid off. He just received news that he has been promoted to a new position with Rolls-Royce. He was just made "CHIEF OF SYSTEM DESIGN & INTEGRATION FOR ALL ROLLS-ROYCE PRODUCTS IN THE USA. This will become GLOBAL CHIEF FOR ALL ROLLS-ROYCE PRODUCTS when the United Kingdom Chief retires soon. Wow-thats a mouth full- this is the kid I remember learning how to ride his bike-falling off-and trying to fix the bike before he worried about fixing his skinned knee! I guess should have seen it coming! SO-take comfort-when the Jihad's cry "death to America" and Iran & North Korea faint Nuclear strikes-our boys in uniform will have the very best to fight with! The F-35 and the F-22 are unmatched in the World-Thanks-Al

Morning all, I'm working on an idea for a kinda unique video involving two people with .................................................................................. time.. Trying not to give the game away here. I'm not sure if my idea will work (working on it) but one thing it will need is reliable (and free) communication across the pond.. I know Skype to Skype calls are free (well apart from using up internet bandwidth), but how good/reliable is it over large distances? Is there a better alternative to Skype? Ta muchly in advance

My son-in-law found a use for a mower that I think was pretty ingenious. Even if he didn't use a Wheel Horse. Here is a video of him using it around where he works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIpO1EmDk_E&feature=youtube_gdata

so as i said before i had been looking at a c160 well i finally made it to dayton and picked her up! upon initial inspection it looked pretty good no rust what soever everything is solid and square but im gonna need some parts. i plan on rewiring the whole thing because its been scabbed together so many times that im gonna be much better off just starting over. id like to get a new electrical connector that goes on the back side of the switch and just re do it all....ive read on here that using marine wiring is the best option for redoin a horse like this...why? i was plannin on shrink wrapping the entire harness just for added protection also. ive been searching everywhere for a new aftermarket harness but i dont think they exist. i also noticed that the carburetor is cracked right where it bolts to the head of the engine so ill need to buy a brand new carb or a used one if i can find it. by the way the engine did turn out to be the k341. the rod that runs from the clutch pedal to the rear end is gone and the little lever that it hooks to is broken so ill need the lever and the clutch rod here is the full list of parts i need: clutch rod clutch rod lever rear hitch and tach a matic carburetor maybe a new coil new throttle cable and choke cable battery spark plug wire maybe new starter.....solenoid not engaging im gonna try and free it up though if anyone lives in northwest ohio or within two hours and just so happen to have a bone yard id love to come ravage it lol! im also plannin on a repaint!! this is gonna be my pride and joy also looking for rototiller blade wheel weights and chains

I agree 100% Kelly. I have never raced on a track but I used to do demo derby and mud racing back in the day. Last year I got a big surprise though. My oldest son and I went to the friday nite races at our local paved track. I thought we were just going to watch the races and throw back a couple of coldies. Little did I know he had entered his Integra in the street class that they have there. The cars have to be street legal and have current plates on them. You have to show registration and proof of insurance (although, no-one can make a claim for any damage done to their vehicles while racing) and fill out a form before they can race. He was out there with 13 cars and I'll be darned if he didn't win the race. It was down to him and another young man in a real nice Camaro. Coming out of the last turn, the Camaro guy kept cutting in on him so Dusty tapped him on the left rear and spun him out and won. I was a pretty proud papa to say the least. The other guy was kind of upset but, he told Dusty "hey, thats racin". I thought that was cool too. I told my son "it was fun, But now look you got a dented fender". He laughed and said, "Yeah, but I won $50 bucks and a fender is only $39 at U-Pull and $11 bucks should cover my gas. So, I win". Cool. Nascar can't do that. I think all of the professional racing has kind of gone to pot. I used to go to Brainerd for the drag races too. But, it got to the point, if anybody else was going to win? John Force had to NOT be there. It kind of got old.

Welcome aboard!!! dogs are really something. I have a lab and Beagle. They adore my next door neighbor. He goes to Florida for the winter and they miss him. One day they got all excited and I wondered what the heck was going on. About 30 seconds later, here he comes driving by in his motor home returning from Florida,. Somehow they knew. I thought is was a coincidence until last night. My wife was working late. All of a sudden the dogs start running around and barking. I look out the window but there is nothing out side. About a min. later,my wife pulls into the driveway. For more dog antics look here

Nice 854 Jake, WH/TORO and Parts Tree still have the gasket (part #4452) I purchased one for my 854 last year, it was about $25.00 plus shipping. I also used Yamalube as a Gasket Sealer which was recommended by the fine people on RED SQUARE Its is holding up well. Clem

Moving open end jumper from bat to relay trigger does not sound quite like SOI's picture.. you want to leave the battery and the starter connected to their respective posts, and apply voltage to the trigger terminal. so you want a jumper between battery and trigger. If you apply voltage to the trigger without being able to draw from the battery, the starter will not go, as the trigger post just moves the plate and closes the connection between the two main studs. Dunno if this is the same, but I get starting gremlins with my 414, and they are nearly always related to ground issues. Check the ground on the solenoid.. I also get weirdness because the ground strap from the battery is run to a bolt on the tower that is secured through a clip, and can sometimes vibrate loose and give poor contact. There is only one time I did have a bad solenoid, and SOI told me how to fix it (although I was too lazy and just bought another.)

Welcome Lola, you must be doing a good job because Terry's always on his best behavior here. We all appreciate, not just the awesome decals and service, but the generosity you both have shown throughout the years.

Well if you need a dif lock and you cant keep traction then you probobly are doing something you shouldn't. Wheel horse did make a limited slip 10 pinion dif but it often broke. The pullers will tell you the an 8 pinion 8 speed is nearly indestructible and no modifications are needed. Weight and better tires will definitely help but if you still can't get traction then you need a bigger machine or wait till the ground is dry. I will admit though that on the farm we never had any tractors with dif lock and didn't need em, if a wheel slipped then you hit the turning break to make the dif switch wheels that worked 98% of the time if it didn't work then we should not have been on the feild.

You want to watch real racing support your local track, go out fri. or sat night and catch a real race, dirt or pavement, the local guys can be fun to watch, people like to see rubbin, and crashes, when I run the local track on fun night, we run figure 8" with lots of contact, after a few years doing it the crowd knows me and my number, I get standing ovations when I enter, they know I don't pull punches, I hit hard and often, I know that is what people want to see, and the track owners love it when I drive hard, they are always asking me to come back, so get out and enjoy the smell of high octane fuel, rubber burning, dirt in your hair, support the local guys you can't feel the thunder sitting on the couch, I don't care how good your TV is, I know I enjoy driving the cars, and after the race signing autographs, and letting kids set in my car, it's a good feeling. Here is a night last year with the whole family, we do it all together, the kids can't even talk the next day after yelling so loud. Sorry I got a little off topic, not really Nascar, I used to watch most every race but anymore not so much, I have better things to do, but I still cheer Tony Stewart on, and have for years and years. he stops by the local track most every year the week of the MI race, he even sets right in the stands with everyone else.

Morning Stigian, yes skype works well across the pond. I video call a fellow in Norway and one in Australia. You can video call with one other person for free. If you need more than that it will cost you. There is another one called oovoo that is free for up to ten people I think. I've only used it once but it seemed to work ok too. Good luck with your project.

PA. DOES NOT REQUIRE BRAKES ON TRAILERS UNDER 3000 LBS. GROSS WEIGHT. THAT IS ABOUT THE SAME IN MOST STATES. OVER THAT YOU NEED BRAKES ANY WAY TO BE SAFE. IF YOU ARE OVER THE WEIGHT THEY MAKE YOU LEAVE THE TRAILER THERE AND GET A FLAT BED WRECKER.

I liked it waaay back when the name Petty meant something and Earnhardt sr. was a punk with an attitude. I think they all raced for free beer and a chance to grope the trophy gal. Now THAT was racing. Now days, I would rather play with my toys outside than waste an afternoon watching a bunch of over-paid whiney brats play pocket pool and tell each other how pretty their jumpsuits are. I will take my local track on a Saturday night with the trailer and school bus races ANYTIME!!!!!!!

NASCAR died IMO, from a car perspective, when the late 80's Monte SS / GM G-Body style went away. Just like any other sport.... like football (now less hitting), basketball (all individual show boating), baseball (big money/drugs/over the top owners) its evolved into something so far removed from the original that its fake.... Football = Big Hits, thats why I watch, you get hurt thats a job hazard, what did you think was going to happen? BasketBall = is supposed to be full court press with ball movement, "Team" has no "I" in it. Baseball = Heroes of a time gone by, but now we have records broken by drug addicts, and a commisioner who sleeps good at night NASCAR = Cars are supposed to look like showroom cars and crash... you don't go to your local short track to watch the cars go round and round and round,(Sorry Kelly, LOL!)

It's called NO INCENTIVE TO LEAD THE RACE!!!! Change the point system to award drivers to lead laps. The cars aren't the problem. Nascar has gone soft with big paydays and fat driver contracts. In the old days guys battled for the lead because they hated the other guy and wanted to beat him the worst way. When Waltrip passed Cale, Cale's blood boiled. Buddy Baker had two speeds. Idle in the pits or wide open. It was go or blow. When they first downsized in the early 80's they had some of the most Ill-handling cars Nascar has ever seen. But they still ran door to door and swapped the lead every other lap. When you watch a Nationwise race you see more action. Why? Because they aren't paid as much and if they want to get paid like the big boys they have to have there car in front leading to get noticed by Penske or Roush as the next newest young gun. Stewart is about the only SC driver with the balls to the wall attitude today.

found some time to get back to working on the 606. Slow but sure it'll get done. Here some recent pics. Got tired of trying to bang those imperfections out of the hood so I went the bondo route. I think it'll look ok, not perfect but ok.
