4 pointsFinally got the tires swapped and the duals mounted. DMI mini-duals... Clamp on style with no wheel centers just like the big boys. Tires are Goodyear Terra Tires - 23x8.50-12. Hard to find sometimes... they don't make these anymore. They were the factory ag tire back in the late 60s.

2 pointsMy 520 pulls the wheels very well with the suit case weights on the back, but people are always amazed when I do it, so at the tractor games this weekend I had people ask me to do one or two for pics, my son took this one, it drags the weights about 8/10 feet on the ground or till the engine runs out of fuel tilted like that.

1 pointHi Craig take a look at this pic & this will give you an idea of what the steel & cast iron will look like when polished up It is a paste that is used for cast iron to bring back the dark lustre of cast iron . I you imagine this cast iron fireplace in a rusty condition then just Brush or use a rag to wipe the paste on then leave for a few minutes then buff it up then it looks like this i use it on a lot of old cast iron around the house & on other things, i even blacked up one of my old plows & it looks great & gives it a real Antique look also take a look at so of the other examples of how it looks on this photobucket http://s908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/guyhartley/fireplace%20photos/?action=view¤t=IMG_2257.jpg#!oZZ39QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs908.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fac286%2Fguyhartley%2Ffireplace%2520photos%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DIMG_2267.jpg

1 pointI was nineteen years old and in Boot Camp at Great Lakes in the summer of '69. Michael Shrieve was 19 and the drummer for "Santana" at Woodstock. He was the youngest performer at Woodstock.

1 pointTrust me, it's taking all I've got to not take it down to bare steel...and leave it.

1 pointIt would be interesting to see an entire tractor go paintless... But that'd not be RED enough.

1 pointi love the raw steel look I use cast iron stove graphite paste on some of my tractors and it looks real nice when just given a light buff up just dont leave it outside to go rusty

1 pointThey all look good to me but I like the one with the snow plow the best. Very nice herd you are growing! Keith

1 pointI don't know what HP your compressor motor is, but you can wire in a large wattage light bulb(300Watt heat lamp bulb works good) in place of the capacitor to diagnose if you happen to have one about.

1 pointLookin Good Bo!!! we went from no grass to mowin 2 times a week here..But no complaints from me or the Horse's!!
-
1 pointThese all look cool, I need to get a set on something, and as for traction on snow no, in snow the narrow tires work best you want to put as much weight in one small spot as you can for traction, duels spread the weight out for better flotation in mud or any where you don't want to sink in, like a soft lawn, ect.....

1 pointOne last pair of photos just for comparison. Before (almost): After: Many, many thanks to all of you for the compliments. It is definitely a tractor that I am proud to own, and happy to have built. At least I don't have to worry about seeing another one like it. I'm still kicking around the idea of a rear spoiler, and I'll have to see what I can do about a pseudo-chute too.
