  • Wheel Horse 2-Stage Snowblower - Near Mint 1996 (SOLD)

      Price: $800
      Location: Harleysville, Pa
      Contact: 215-512-8zerozero9

Selling my barely used 2-stage blower.  I bought this new around 2003 from a WH dealer that had gone out of business as NOS still in the box/pallet.  I used it for a couple of seasons before switching to some larger equipment for lawn and driveway maintenance.  We typically don't get a ton of snow here in SE PA and it certainly was not used more than 8-10 times before being retired to a corner of my garage (I also used a blade for smaller snows).  I now need the space, according to my wife, so this should go to someone that can use it.  I'm keeping the tractor in the photos but wanted to show it fully mounted and for you to see that nothing is missing.  I'll try and post a video of it running so that you can hear none of the drivetrain makes any unusual noises.  If that doesn't work, I can send it privately.  The original manual is also included.  I've never done anything to it, for better or worse, it is exactly as it came from Toro in 1996.  With so few hours, I can't imagine any original condition units exist that are in better condition.  It worked really well in some deep snows, as I recall, but could definitely benefit from more HP than my 416 provides.  I certainly don't recommend anything less.  Finally, it's heavy - bring some friends and a low trailer to pick it up.  My son and I can help, but...  It's heavy!  I know pricing on these are all over the place because they are relatively uncommon.  I don't need to sell it, but would like to make the space, so make me an offer - I might say no, but won't be offended.  Thanks for looking!

As far as I know, it will fit any tractor that has the classic Attach-A-Matic system.  It utilizes both the front and mid-mount hitches.  I just looked in the manual and there are no call outs about needing different components for installation on certain models or not fitting others.  So, according to what I know and can see, it should fit the C175 or 160 just fine, but others may know differently.

I've come to learn that this unit really only fits the 300-400-500 series tractors from the 80's and 90's.  On the C-1x5 black hood tractors, the blower body will hit the hood since it hangs so far out in front of the frame.  Sorry for the confusion but wanted to clarify for everyone.
