  • 1984 C-145 Hydro w/ Mower, Plow, Snowblower + extras

    Ro-Go
    • Active
      Price: 1400.00
      Location: Cornwall, Ny
      Contact: j.roguls@gmail.com

    This was my father's tractor he bought as a leftover in 1985. I know the provenance and I've restored it to an excellent working machine. I have used it less than 10 hours since the conversion. I mow with a zero turn, love to putt around in my Raider 12, and use my father's John Deere 2038 for the bigger jobs. This does not get used and is in perfect working order. It needs a home where it will get the use it deserves, and I have an 854 project to get to.

    This was a top-of-the-line model of its day. The motor has rubber mounts!

    Sold with: 48" mower; snow plow; snowblower.

    ~$800 worth of tires/weights alone:

    • Wheels cleaned and painted with Rustoleum Antique White;
    • Wheel weights painted black;
    • Front tires are 5 rib Vredstein (awesome);
    • Rear tires are Carlisle All Trail 23 x 10.5 x 12 ATV tires (best of both worlds -- crazy grip that does not tear up the lawn. I've read members have run these without chains for snow plowing/blowing;
    • All four tires have RV Antifreeze ballast in them

    There is one issue: the oil pan gasket needs tightening or replacement. It has a slight leak.

    NOTE: Snowblower picture shows it buried in my father's garage. It has been garage-kept its entire life and works flawlessly. Once someone commits to see it/buy it, I'll extract it from its buried state.

    1. 14 hp K321 short block has less than 100 hours on it. Replaced by my father about 15 years ago when they were plentiful.

    2. Converted to the full suite of Kirk Engine goodies (my 3rd conversion), including:

    • Transdenser II electronic ignition;
    • Facet solid state electronic fuel pump;
    • New genuine Kohler breaker points;
    • Breaker points push rod;
    • Magnetic oil drain plug;
    • Breaker points cover screw kit;
    • High performance ignition coil.
    •

    3. New:

    • Hydraulic fluid (synthetic Valvoline 5w-30) and correct NAPA hydraulic fluid filter;
    • Gas cap;
    • Fancy WH repro seat;
    • Tygon fuel lines with Bosch fuel filter;
    • Champion spark plug;
    • Valvoline synthetic high mileage oil (zinc fortified for these single cylinder beauties);
    • Valve cover / breather gaskets (genuine Kohler);
    • iSaveTractors ignition coil;
    • replacement iSaveTractors LED bulb for one of the headlights.

    4. Extras:

    • Foot pedal control;
    • SUPER RARE new-old-stock voltage regulator ($100+ part if you can find it);
    • Various parts in a bin (yep, family has owned Wheel Horses since the 60s).

    I'm in the Hudson Valley, New York, near West Point. There is a possibility I can deliver this beast if feasible, though I'd prefer you come and pick her up.
