bumpsteer 38 #1 Posted June 11, 2018 Owner says this is a 516H. Is it? Comes as it is, has leak in Hyd system, not sure which pump it has. Give me an idea of a fair prie please. Doug
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #2 Posted June 11, 2018 No, it's not a 516-H, unless every piece of sheet metal, including the pedestal was changed.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,498 #3 Posted June 11, 2018 Not a 516-H which is a 1988 model. The photo is a 1976 or 1977 C120 Automatic or C-160 Automatic model. 953 nut 51,682 #4 Posted June 11, 2018 (edited) As Garry said it appears to be a mid '70s and would probably have a value of $ 350 +/- Take a look at the 416 listed in our classifieds, same tractor for all intents and purposes. Ed Kennell 35,770 #6 Posted June 11, 2018 Based on the smaller motion control knob, it has to be a 75-77 C-120 or C-160 auto. 74s had the larger screw on knob. With a 3,4, or 500 series seat mount.
bumpsteer 38 #7 Posted June 11, 2018 Makes since seat was changed does have the 16 hp. I ask for the ser. # and he said tag had been removed only rivet holes left. Doug
dcrage 621 #8 Posted June 13, 2018 For what it is worth this tractor has a better hydraulic transmission combination than a 516-H. The 516 had Eaton 700s which are NOT rated for “ground engaging” attachments. The mid ‘70s Cs had Sunstrands or maybe Eaton 1100.
c-series don 7,813 #9 Posted June 13, 2018 What everybody says here is correct. Basically the only thing that tractor and a 516 H is the tire size !
