elliot ness 1,916 #1 Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) Started another Loader project yesterday, C195 and Brantly loader, The brantly's are a rear bird. The loader needs some work on the cylinders and 6 new lines. The C195 is going to get a full paint make over when the loader is finished. will keep the pics coming as I progress. Had to move all the tabs for the angle braces and for the new lift cylinders, the new cylinders are 4inches longer so it will lift over 6feet high now. , worked 2 days on the underside bracket. Should get the pump mounted this week. lots more to do. Edited March 25, 2018 by elliot ness more pictures

elliot ness 1,916 #4 Posted March 29, 2018 More pictures. Got the pump mounted plus a few more things. Will paint rest of loader when weather worms up. The pump is from Northern tool and it is bi-directional. .0285 ci. I have used them before and they work good.
RandyLittrell 3,827 #5 Posted March 29, 2018 I would highly suggest tying the loader mount into the rear trans somehow. When I got my 1277 with a johnson loader on it, it was mounted much like yours. It puts all the stress on the frame so it would tweak back and forth to the rear end. I put it in such a bind that the hydro control ball popped out of the plate. I got that fixed then built a brace to the rear end. I made mine a little over the top from what I had to be, but now I can tell if a rear tire is low because the loader touches the ground off. I will throw a pic up just to show what I did. My way added a place for counter weight, but there are a bunch of different ways it could be done. That loader looks a heck of a lot like a johnson loader. 2

Here is a pic of how the hydro control looked. A person wouldn't have to to go all the way around the back, just to the rear axle would suffice I think, but I like tubing over angle iron, much stiffer. DennisThornton 4,769 #15 Posted April 5, 2018 I have a a 35 hp 4wd with loader and backhoe and I sit here drooling over both the C-195 and FEL! I really love my New Holland TC-35 but it would really be nice to have something smaller at times and (other than the lack of 4wd AND PS!) I think your creation is ideal. Any thoughts about adding PS? BIG rear weight? Again, very nice! How'd you make the bucket?

Forest Road 594 #18 Posted April 12, 2018 BTW I run a bunch of weight. 50lb wheel weights. And 300+ on a ballast rack. I used a 2” receiver hitch to mount the ballast. Also have a ballast box I can swap in. Comes in handy when I doing chores as a tool holder, rope, shovels, chainsaws....
