Blasterdad 2,564 #1 Posted May 8, 2017 Found this on CL this morning, couldn't pass it up....(this has got to stop). Came with front deck carrier, 48" bagger/recycler deck, (no bagger or blower, but rear bagger bracket) two mule drives, & a couple odds & ends. Runs good, no smoke or noises, 1200 hrs on the clock 8

Blasterdad 2,564 #3 Posted May 8, 2017 I'm still on the fence with this one, I'm more of a C-Series / Kohler kinda guy, to me this seems too "new" to me, too much plastic. Bought it mainly for barter purposes, would like to flip it into something older, like a C-160 or 161. I've been looking for something with a hydro lift for the snowblower & it does fit the bill there, maybe it will "grow" on me, who knows... Meanwhile, space is getting thin & so is the wife's patience. Anyone interested in some horse tradin' let me know.
Blasterdad 2,564 #4 Posted May 12, 2017 Had a little time to investigate the 520, rear cylinder spark plug was loose, bought new ones, new fuel & air filter while I was at it. Oil was full & not that dirty, but will be changed anyway, I don't like not knowing what it is or how long it's been there... Took her out for a little spin around the yard tonight & she never missed a beat, runs surprisingly well for having sat for three years. You 520 guys will get a kick out of this, I'm surprised she runs at all when you get load of this wiring harness, the only word that comes to mind is "astonishing". Out of curiosity I tugged on the white wire with the tape on it, out popped a blue crimp on screw terminal connector just jammed up in there... Another fun modification, (not mine) a pushbutton hooked up to the solenoid. & to top it all off a Cub Cadet seat !!! Took it off, re fabricated the bracket, & painted it black to keep myself from getting out he wire cutters...
