D 200

Excellent score , @nigel - you'll love the brute force of the D series . Check the front axle and those steering spindles closely as they like to wear out and destroy themselves . I did a rebuild and mod post on one of those axles and plan to start offering rebuilds on this side of the Pond - it's in the Restoration/Modifications section

Looks to be in great condition. I wish I could find one of those seats with the arm rests. The D-200 is one of my favorites.

Sorry to say this chaps but the D-200 is only in Nigel's workshop to get it running and have the tires changed....   It's a shame as it's a nice machine to have about the place.. I'd certainly like it in my small collection..

Anyway, a few "D" videos for you..

Enjoy

nigel  Very nice shape. I think this could be a monster tractor project. BIG  BIG tiers. But if not very nice condition. Enjoy it for what it is.

A monstret project indeed, but the rewards are great.

I have a D-200 here (in the UK) where I have used it for cutting grass since 1995.

Sourcing parts has been challenging

A few years ago the PTO clutch seized, eventually I got the parts and re-assembled it.

But it never quite recovered and if my local mower shop cant fix it, I guess I will have to sell it on to someone with better mechanical skills.

Shame as you get attached to the BEAST.

A few pics for you to enjoy
