Detector 72 #1 Posted July 25, 2016 Ok, Only had this 90 model Hydro a few days... According to the manual if not mistaken lever forward to hand push the unit. I have a clicking/popping sound pushing the unit into my building, the transmission operates fine running. Checked the fluid and it is full. This may or may not be normal on the Hydro models. Being new to the Wheel Horse figured I'd ask

Detector 72 #3 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Glad to hear & thank you!! That sound had me worried lol Edited July 25, 2016 by Detector
Detector 72 #4 Posted July 25, 2016 What causes this mystery popping, sounds like ball bearing. I see where some lock up pushing the tractors, mine seems to do it worse pushing it in my building vs pulling it out
doc724 924 #5 Posted July 25, 2016 My 96 416H and my 81 C125 both have the Eaton 1100 and yes you do get the clicking sound. If you push really slow, no clicking. That is why there are stickers plastered on the tractor telling you not to tow it. My 2002 520xi also has the Eaton 1100, but it has a two speed hydro along with a neutral position. Neutral is for pushing/towing
